Finding Hot Selling Products To Sell
February 28, 2006 12:14 amIn order to locate products that sell online, we need to understand what people already want to buy.
Finding a good choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing the demand for the product in the current market and the level of competition or market share that the product will be having in the long run.
“What should I sell? What products are hot selling? These are the questions most people are trying to find an answer in order for them to make the definite decision.
And if we really want to know the answer to this question, our only choice is to do some research. There are all kinds of twists along the road that may lead you to think you have a high-demand idea.
We must be able to understand and satisfy the need, wants and expectations of our customers on a certain product that they’re trying to buy.
This three are called the basic needs or minimum requirements in a purchase. Needs are the basic reasons or the minimum requirements consumers are looking for in a product or service.
They are called the qualifying or “gatekeeper†dimensions in a purchase. Wants are the determining dimensions among many choices. Expectations, on the other hand, are values or intangibles associated with a product or service.
Expectations are actually part of “wants†but they become extremely important when products or services are not differentiated.
For example, in reading a logic book, university students look for the following: Relevant logic concepts use of simple language, easy to understand and affordable prices.
These similar ideas can be applied to Internet Sales as well. After all, the Internet is just another place to sell products. The basic concept of demand is the same there as it is anywhere else, and has been all the time.
Now, the second thing that must be considered in finding “hot†products to sell are the level of competition or the market shares do your product will have.
Market share or level of competition means the ratio of your brand sales versus the total market sales.
While companies would naturally define its target competitors, it is actually the consumers who ultimately decide the competitive frame, or the list related products or services that consumers consider when exercising their purchasing power.
We must therefore choose the market segment where we can have a potential leadership or at least a strong challenger role.
Because the overriding objective of getting into this business is not just to satisfy the needs and wants of our customers but to do so profitably better than his competition. Otherwise, our competition will end up satisfying the customers better than our own interest.
Third factor to be considered in finding hot selling products is finding out the general interest level about the product. General interest in a product helps us to gauge where our demand and competition numbers fall into the big picture.
Simply saying, if there isn’t much demand for the product, and there isn’t much competition, it would seem that it might not be good a good put up for sale. But the research doesn’t stop here; there is one last thing to be considered to exactly find the hot selling products that you’ve been looking for.
We must also learn how others are advertising those products. If there are a good number of them doing so, it may mean that it’s a good product to get into.
Coming to the last phase of the process is analyzing and evaluating all the information that has been collected.
We have to look at all of the data we have collected on demand, competition, and advertising, and make decision as how they all balance out.
And here are several factors or aspects that must be measured:
(a) not enough demand means not enough people are going to buy
(b) too much competition means not enough of a profit to go around
(c) too much advertising drives up the price of pay per click ads, and competition as well
(d) not enough general interest, combined with low demand, means there may not be a good market even if there is competition trying to make the sales.

How To Incorporate Adsense Into Your Affiliate Marketing
February 26, 2006 1:31 amA lot of people are lured by affiliate marketing because it can be financially rewarding, even if you just stay at home.
Affiliate marketing programs are best alternatives to those who are sick and tired of their arduous daily work just to climb up the venerated corporate ladder.
You don’t need products to sell, you just have to market them in your own web site and you don’t have to worry about processing the customers’ payments and the shipment of the products.
If you are already into affiliate marketing, probably you were thinking about these benefits, too, before deciding to join an affiliate program.
Of course you want earn huge amount of commission. Who would not want it anyway? Keep in mind, however, that affiliate marketing cannot guarantee you instant success if you don’t work on it.
There are a lot of ways of maximizing your income. The Internet is a huge library of information, use it to learn of other opportunities and ways to increase your income.
You can partner with several merchandisers and promote different products in your website; thereby, increasing your chance to earn a commission.
The easiest way for you to rev up your revenue potential is by incorporating Google AdSense into your marketing campaigns.
What is Google AdSense? What are its advantages? How can it boost my revenues? These are some of the questions you might want to ask.
Let’s try to probe into Google AdSense, so you would know how it could help you in your affiliate marketing program.
Merchants place their ads in Google, which is one of the most popular search engines or tools for locating various resources in the World Wide Web.
Now the Google AdSense program allows you to display these ads in you website and when your visitors click through them, you earn.
The advertiser, which is the merchant pays Google for every click-through made by the customer and you as a partner of Google, gets a share from that payment.
What’s great about the Google AdSense is that the ads are relevant to the content of your web page. Most likely, visitors of your web site are interested on the theme of your site and specifically, on the content of your web page.
So, seeing ads related to their interest would definitely drive them to click through the link or the ad.
Using state-of-the-art technology, Google scans your web site and matches the content of your pages to their large database of advertisers; this way, Google is able to find ads that are targeted by the users of your site.
In addition, Google changes the ads in your site as you change the content of your pages, so you can always expect the ads to be relevant to your site.
Having Google ads in your website is also a way of convincing your users to return to your site. Repeat customers multiply your income without having to exert extra effort to convince them again to click through your links.
And your potential to earn doesn’t depend on them alone. Since you already have their confidence, they can be your endorsers as well.
They could refer your site to family and friends who probably share the same interests with them.
Advertisers in the Google AdSense program range from large international brands to small-time domestic and local businesses, so the targeted market for the ads can range as well.
This adds variety to your site; thereby, attracting different kinds of users. As you attract more users, you increase your earning potential as well.
If you are targeting a specific nationality for your site users, don’t worry because AdSense can be used in different languages.
In order to boost your revenues through Google AdSense, you must pay attention to making web pages of high value topics.
Make contents related to high-paying ads, so you can earn more. Some ads pay only a few cents while some ads pay you dollars just for a single click.
You would need to do a little research on this so you can come up with a more relevant content. Join affiliate marketing forums and get tips from experienced affiliate marketers.
Becoming an AdSense affiliate marketer is easy and fast. You just have to apply online and once your application is approved, you can instantly set up Google ads in your site.
All you need to do is copy and paste some codes in your web pages and in no time the ads will appear in your site.
Strike while the iron is hot! Take advantage of the favorable circumstances the Internet is offering you. Make the most of your affiliate marketing opportunities, use Google AdSense!

February 06 4th Week
February 24, 2006 8:55 pmTestimonials are one of the most powerful, cheap and easy-
to-use marketing tools available to you and if you’re not
using them on your websites, then you’re missing out on
potential sales.
Regardless of what stage you’re at in building your
business you need to focus on establishing credibility with
your visitors and subscribers. Doing this can build trust,
which in turn creates profits.
Think about it. Most of us need proof that something works
and would be more inclined to make a purchase based on this
rather than rely on a sales pitch alone.
Using complimentary, fact-filled testimonials on your
website from satisfied customers is one of the most high-
impact ways to let your visitors know that the product you
want them to purchase lives up to their expectations and
will actually do what it says it will.
So, how do you get testimonials?
If your customers have given you positive feedback on your
product already, then you may already have some great
testimonials to add to your site.
However, if your customer response is a little slow - or
if you’re just starting out - getting testimonials from
happy customers will take a little more effort.
So how do you collect the testimonials you need to help
grow your business and increase sales?
One easy way to collect testimonials is to include a link on
your site with a form that allows your customers to give you
their vote of confidence: “Tell us how this product changed
your life!” or “Click here to let us know what you think!”
Basically - give them a chance to share their experiences
with your product or service.
One method of getting this type of testimonial is to place
a request next to some testimonials that you’ve already
gathered to give customers an example of the kind of
feedback you’re looking for.
A more effective method is to create an autoresponder that
contacts your buyers after they’ve purchased your product
- even a month later - to ask how they’re enjoying
the product, as well as giving them a chance to offer
feedback on their experience with your business.
If you receive a great letter or e-mail from a happy
customer, ask them if you can use their comments on your
website to recommend your product to others. If they were
happy enough to let you know, they’re bound to want to
spread the word.
If they allow you to do this, in return you can include
their website address in the testimonial. This way there is
a benefit to them as well.
If you haven’t yet begun selling your product and have no
feedback yet, offer your product or service for free to a
select group of customers in exchange for their thoughts
on the product or some details on their experience with
your site.
Once you’ve got some testimonials to share with your
visitors, you need to make sure that you’re putting them
to the best possible use on your site.
You can do this by make sure that you…
- Include your best testimonials on the most prominent
positions in your main sales page, such as in the top fold
or the side bars,
- Place some testimonials right in the middle of your
homepage to keep your readers focused on your credibility
as you outline the best benefits of your product or service,
- Set up a separate page that is totally dedicated to your
testimonials, as well as including snippets of their
comments throughout your site. Be sure to put a link to
your testimonial page next to each of those snippets!
- Include a link to your testimonials on each and every
page of your web site. No matter where your visitors go on
your site you want them to find positive comments about of
your product or service,
- Don’t edit your testimonials to exclude a comment or add
information you want to hear. If you’re not comfortable
with using the comments as they are, then you need to ask
yourself whether the testimonial is suited to your site,
- Never use a customer testimonial without permission.
But above all, never invent testimonials. This is
fraud. There’s just no good way to say it. Lying just to
get a sale will undermine your credibility and it will
result in destroying your business.
All the best and have a great week

Why Action Gets Results!
Success in any entrepreneurial endeavor is contingent on a
simple truth: Learning does not always require thinking.
Actually, thinking often hinders learning. Hinders
learning? That flies in the face of most of what we know,
doesn’t it? As children we were often reproached when we
made mistakes: “You just weren’t thinking! Don’t you ever
think about what you’re doing?”
Then there’s the most successful personal development book
of all time telling us to do what? …That’s right, “Think
and Grow Rich”. True it is a fantastic book and a must read
for success minded people. But many of us get so tangled in
thoughts that we can’t get out of our “heads” and take the
action required for success.
Socrates, one of the greatest “thinkers” of all time,
said, “Action equals knowledge.” Action, not thinking, is
how we achieve results. Take playing the piano for
instance. We could think about playing the piano but we
will never become better until we start pecking away at the
keys.
If you were to ask an accomplished pianist to think about
what they are playing in the middle of a rapturous concert,
the music would probably fall apart into a series of
painfully disconnected notes.
Same is true with typing. Ask a person who flawlessly
types over 70 words a minute to think about the key
strokes, and you could probably watch the mistakes pile up.
Thinking hinders execution. Thinking can hinder success.
The fact of the matter is we can intellectualize all we
want, but until we take action we will never accomplish
anything.
There is a mantra in the martial arts that says “Ready,
Fire, Aim”. Simply put, this means take action and correct
that action as you go. It is quite probable that many
businesses never get out of the starting gate because of
over-thinking and over analyzing.
Most people want all their ducks to be lined up in a row
before they begin. This will never happen. The time will
never be perfect. The key is to get started and then “keep
on keeping on.”
In the martial arts, students practice moves over and over
and over again. They train their bodies to transcend
thought and take action in the moment.
Imagine a trained martial artist getting attacked on the
street thinking, “Hmm, okay I’m being attacked. Should I
turn my body this way?…or should it be the other way?
Okay, now I have to trap the assailments arms, tighten my
fists, pull back, and strike.”
Of course this is not what happens in the martial arts.
The key teaching in the martial arts is to ACT. NOW! …In
spite of the mind’s tenancy to analyze the situation.
The worst kind of thinking is fear of failure. The “What
if” disease. “What if I fail? What if people laugh at me?
What if I lose all my money? What if, what if, what if?
Fear is paralyzing. It stops the movement necessary for
success. Fear weakens our resolve, cripples our creativity,
and ultimately stagnates our successes. Conversely,
movement overcomes fear. When struck by fear, move. Do
something!
So, don’t wait to explore your entrepreneurial spirit;
take action now. When those pesky thoughts creep up, and
they will, scare them away with the mantra, “Don’t think,
don’t think, don’t think, don’t think…” and watch your
dreams and goals cascade toward you.
What is the bottom line? “Don’t think and grow rich.”

This Week’s Trivia Answer
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Here’s the answer to the trivia question I asked earlier…
Why is the left lung of a person always smaller than its
right lung?
The left lung is smaller than the right lung to make room
for the heart.
Doh! So simple when you know the answer

Cardiovascular Exercise versus Weight Training!
All exercisers, whether beginners or old hands, will ask
themselves at some point if they should switch to an all-
cardio or all-weight training program.
Trainers are asked this question every day in gyms across
America and more curious folks write in to fitness columns
to pose the query. Does it really matter if you do all-
cardio or all-weights?
The short answer to this question is yes, it does matter.
Cardiovascular exercise primarily focuses on developing
and strengthening the cardiovascular system through aerobic
training. This means strengthening your heart, lungs, and
blood vessels so that they all work more efficiently, both
together and individually.
By training the body to meet higher and higher levels of
aerobic endurance, you increase the efficacy of your
system. This is a fantastic move to make your present life
easier and more pleasant, but it’s also a smart move to
prepare for later life.
Research proves over and over again that adults who
maintain a high level of fitness throughout early and
middle life end up living fuller, more productive lives as
seniors. That’s in addition to living longer than people
who don’t exercise.
The benefits of cardiovascular exercise are almost too
numerous to list: lower blood pressure, lower ‘bad’
cholesterol and higher ‘good’, decreased incidence of heart
attack and stroke, decreased risk of osteoporosis, overall
decreased risk of most cancers, increased life span and
more.
Cardiovascular or aerobic exercise is the smartest choice
around - or is it?
Weight training aims to strengthen the muscles by lifting
weights. By increasing the overall strength of the muscles
in the body, the support of the body is increased and
allows for greater ease of living. People who lift weights
are shown to have many of the same characteristics as those
who engage in cardiovascular exercise.
Weight-lifters also experience a decreased risk of bone
fractures since the weights help build bone through the
resistance.
So lifting weights is surely the best approach to fitness -
right?
In reality, the number one way to achieve ultimate fitness
in your life is to combine the two approaches of aerobic
exercise and strength training to boost your health to the
optimum level.
The two methods, though targeting different systems, form
a beautiful relationship that works together to develop and
build all aspects of the body to create the strongest,
healthiest body possible.
Cardiovascular exercise strengthens the lungs and allows
the body to build up stamina. Weight training uses that
stamina to build muscles for longer periods of time. The
muscles then act in their roles as support team for the
skeleton and organs, and can work more efficiently.
The increased efficiency of the body means that it can
develop greater aerobic capacity through exercise - and you
see how the cycle begins again. Cardio and strength
training feed off each other to develop your best body ever.
The next question should be obvious: what’s the best
combination aerobic and strength training workout?
The answer to this is swimming!
Swimming is the ultimate aerobic conditioner as well as
muscle builder. Thanks to the buoyancy you experience
underwater, your muscles can concentrate more on working
than on supporting your body. Doing all those laps, though,
requires a great deal of aerobic stamina. Thus all of your
body’s systems get a thorough workout when you swim.
One recommended program is to swim a certain number of
laps in the pool, but on each lap swim a different style.
On your first lap, swim freestyle to get into the groove
and warm your muscles. On your second lap, swim
breaststroke. Do backstroke on the third. Rotate the
strokes so that your muscles are continually surprised and
challenged.
Do this as your swimming workout four to five times a week
and you will be amazed at the change in your body both in
shape and in endurance.
The smart exerciser knows that there’s no choosing between
cardiovascular exercise and weight training. The best
programs always incorporate a variety of the two to provide
maximum development and strength. Start adding your own
combination workouts to your schedule and be delighted as
your body starts to truly reinvent itself.

How To Maximize Your Internet Security Against Malware
February 20, 2006 12:13 amBut what is Malware? Malware is any form of malicious software that can cause damage to a computer system. It can corrupt data, cause system slowdown and can be downright annoying.
In order to protect your computer from malware, it’s important to have knowledge of the various forms of malware, the most well-known of which, is the computer virus.
A computer virus is a self-replicating program that works by attaching itself to various hosts. A host can be any executable code such as the executable files of applications or the boot sectors of floppy disks.
The virus is set to run when you execute the infected program. It will then proceed to make copies of itself, and try to infect other hosts on your computer, or other computers connected through a network.
Viruses commonly spread through e-mail in the form of attachments. Most e-mail viruses replicate by sending copies of itself to other e-mail addresses in the infected user’s address book.
It’s perfectly safe to read normal text e-mail since a virus needs to have some sort of executable code to run in order to be activated, so the danger lies in running possibly infected attached files.
Probably the most well known e-mail virus is the infamous ILOVEYOU virus, which was an e-mail with the words “I love you” in the subject line. It contained an attachment that when opened causes the e-mail to be sent to everyone in the victim’s address book, along with corrupting files in the user’s computer.
The virus was immensely effective due to users’ willingness to open the attachment. It’s vital to be cautious with e-mail attachments. It’s recommended that if you’re going to open one, that you save it to a disk and scan it with an updated anti-virus program first.
If you receive an attached file and unsure of the source or purpose, it’s best to just delete it.
A computer worm is similar to a virus in a sense that they are both self-replicating and can spread possibly modified copies of itself from machine to machine. The difference is that it can work independently of other files, unlike a virus which needs a host.
Instead, a worm spreads itself through computer networks by exploiting security holes in a target system’s software or operating system.
The most deceptively simple form of malware is the trojan horse. It’s basically a damaging program disguised as something else. It appears to be a legitimate program but will cause damage to your computer instead.
Unlike worms and viruses, trojan horses can’t replicate and rely instead on tricking users to spread itself. Trojans can come hidden in an otherwise legitimate program or can simply be mislabeled.
Another form of malware that’s plaguing the internet is spyware. This software collects information about a user and sends it back to the manufacturer, all without the knowledge of the user. Like trojans, it usually lies hidden in other programs especially in p2p programs.
Now that you know the enemy you can now begin to protect yourself from these online threats by taking the proper precautions and counter-measures. Here are some of the basic practices to bolster your online security:
Use an updated anti-virus program. It’s important to keep your anti-virus software updated, as new threats are appearing daily and the anti-virus manufacturers are constantly providing new virus definitions.
These definitions allow your anti-virus software to detect and stop new viruses. Be sure to scan your computer regularly and scan all new programs or files before opening them.
Update Windows with the latest security patches. Security holes within windows can be exploited by worms and malicious users. Microsoft provides security patches to fix these problems as soon as they’re discovered, so be sure to keep up to date.
Tired of Internet Explorer? I suggest you to try Firefox (free Web browser). It has an intuitive interface and blocks viruses, spyware, and popup ads. Easy to install, has many useful features.
Use a firewall to monitor programs coming in and out of your computer. It will notify you when a program tries to access the internet from your computer and asks if you want to block it.
This is useful in detecting and preventing spyware, and also from sending data back to the source. Block whatever programs you think could be malware.
Use spyware removal tools. Ad-aware and Spybot - Search & Destroy are two of the most effective spyware removal tools and can be downloaded off the internet for free.
These safety measures while highly effective can be greatly aided by good surfing practices. Always practice caution when using the internet. Avoid risky web sites with dubious content. Sights offering warez or free giveaways are more likely to contain malware.
Be careful of running files obtained from dubious sources. Avoid downloading from unknown web and ftp sites. Be careful of files that you receive while chatting and e-mail attachments from unknown sources.
P2p file sharing programs such as kazaa are some of the most common places to acquire trojan horses and spyware. Be wary of the file your downloading. Check the file size if it’s relatively accurate for the file your downloading and check the actual name of the download.
These precautions should help keep your computer safe from harm and ensure victory in the battle against malware for internet security.

February 06 3rd Week
February 17, 2006 8:45 pmHaving an Internet business, which earns you money on auto-
pilot is very exciting. Although it’s easy to make money
with affiliate marketing, only a very small percentage of
affiliates make a lot of money (actually 5% of them).
By following the advice in this article, not only will you
avoid the common mistakes most affiliate marketers make,
but you will also learn how to select programs that make
you residual income for many months.
With affiliate marketing a vendor pays people (affiliates)
a certain percentage of the sale price for merchandise
sold. It’s a win-win situation because the affiliate simply
refers people to a website and does not have to worry about
fulfillment, and the vendor gets people to advertise for
them and only has to pay them after they make a sale.
Here are some common mistakes most affiliate marketers
make, and why you should avoid them:
1. Sending people directly to an affiliate’s website.
You spend so much energy, time and money to advertise.
When you send people directly to a vendor’s website you
only have one chance to get the sale. If they don’t buy
they are gone.
The best way to do this is to send people to an opting page,
where you give them something of value for free, in exchange
for their email address. That way you can follow up with
them at a later date and have the opportunity to sell them
other products.
2. Creating a website with a gazillion affiliate links,
tons of flashy banners and all the colors of the rainbow.
You don’t want to overwhelm people because when that
happens they are gone. Instead, offer an honest review of a
product, pre-selling readers on its benefits, and on how it
will help them.
3. Falling victim of affiliate commission theft.
Yes, commission theft is a very big problem. While, you
cannot eliminate it completely, there are some steps you
can take, to minimize it dramatically. Two methods you can
use are cloaking and redirecting, instead of having the
affiliate url in the form - for example:
http://www.vendorswebsite.com/?id=imakemoneyoffofyou
It takes the same effort to refer a sale for a one-time
purchase product than it takes to refer one for a residual
payment product. Therefore, it makes good business sense to
try and market affiliate programs with recurring
commissions.
In choosing residual payment affiliate programs, you
should consider the stickiness of the services you are
promoting.
For example, you refer a sale for a membership website
which only offers resale rights to products, and nothing
else to keep the customer from canceling. People can join,
download all the products and then cancel within the same
month.
On the other hand, consider referring a sale for web
hosting or for an autoresponder service. These services
will be essential for the customer’s business, and he/she
is therefore not likely to cancel for a very long time or
until they give up their online ventures completely.
In conclusion, you should try and avoid the common
mistakes that affiliate marketers make by sending your
customers to an opt-in list first, pre-selling them to the
product’s benefits, and by avoiding affiliate commission
theft.
In addition, you should be going after programs with
residual commissions but be sure to always evaluate the
stickiness of the product you are recommending. To be able
to do that, the best way is to try the product yourself
first.
All the best and have a great day

“Converting Traffic into Profits!”
If you are to survive online it is imperative that you are
able to convert your website traffic into profits! It’s
absolutely useless to drive thousands of visitors to your
site if you aren’t converting them into sales.
The best and easiest way to do this is to obtain your
visitors contact details so that you can build a
relationship with them and gain their trust to convert them
into life long customers.
I realised a long time ago that this is where the REAL
money is made!
With this in mind we’re going to focus on the NUMBER ONE
step you need to do if you want to make any REAL money
online. This one step can literally be the difference
between the success or failure of your business.
So what is this ONE step you MUST do to succeed online?
You MUST capture the contact details of your visitors!
No ifs, no buts and definitely no maybes. You MUST have a
system in place that enables you to capture the contact
details of your visitors so that you can build an optin
email list.
Why do YOU need to do this?
You have to start thinking like your visitors. You need to
look at the process from their point of view.
Ask yourself… would you purchase something and give your
credit details to someone who you had never even seen or
heard of before, just because they asked you to?
I think not and a majority of your visitors think the
same way. Sure, you are always going to get the impulse
buyer who will make a purchase on their first visit to your
site. But the majority of your visitors won’t!
However if you have implemented a system to build an
optin email list, you will be able to make multiple
contacts with your prospects… AFTER they leave your site!
Once you have implemented this system and built a highly
targeted and responsive email list, and you’ve crafted a
good offers, each prospect on your list can be worth up to
$2 per month.
But if you’re just starting out, you may not yet have the
developed the skills to create good ad copy, so naturally
it would be unrealistic to expect to be receiving the
equivalent of $2 per subscirber.
But it isn’t unrealistic to expect to recieve $0.50 to
$1 per subscriber.
Now by itself this doesn’t sound much. But imagine if you
had 1,000 prospects on your list?. You could be earning up
to $1,000 a month simply by contacting them and
communicating with them at regular intervals.
Now, what if you were able to build your email list to
5,000 highly targeted subscribers? All of a sudden you
could be making up to $5,000 per month simply by
communicating and promoting products to your list.
Not bad for a few hours work is it!
So… how do you collect your visitors contact details and
build your list?
There is no single BEST method that works for everyone.
You will need a bit of trial and error to find what works
best for your niche.
It may take you a little time to produce the best method
suited for your site to collect follow-up information, but
if you think outside the square you can quickly grow your
list.
Those people who are the most successful in any venture
are the ones who are most innovative.
The methods that I have found to be most suited to my
business for building a highly targeted email list are:
- Start an ezine
- Create a capture page
- Contribute to online marketing forums
- Subscribe to list building services
- Writing articles
- Create a viral ebook, report or ecourse
- Use a dynamic popup window
You will find that these are the foundation to building a
huge optin email list.
But whatever your online marketing strategy is, DO NOT
forget the follow-up… the money is in the list!
Yes… I know you’ve probably heard this a million times
before but until you actually see the results for yourself
it’s hard to comprehend how important this really is!
Start immediately collecting the contact information of
your prospects then get to work developing a simple follow-
up system for contacting each of them as many times as you
need to make the sale.
Please don’t just shrug off the information you have just
read. It is the most important step you will take to
creating a successful online business.

Your Own Attitude Makes the Difference!
In life there’s a huge variety of things that you can’t
control, no matter what! Nevertheless, you should never let
those things, regardless of how bad they are, defeat you.
Remember that, no matter how bad the situation gets,
you’re the one who decides how to react to it and how much
it can affect you.
It is essential to always meditate on the positive aspects
of any occurrence. In other words, try identifying the good
parts in everything.
Even though it might sound extremely hard or very foolish
at the beginning, seeking the good aspects in the worst
situation of all will help you exercise your way of
thinking and, in no time, you’ll find yourself meditating
in an incredibly constructive and positive manner.
The question is how to find the power to analyze
everything in a good light, when things can’t get worse
than they already are. The answer is to detach yourself
from the facts. Remember that most things in this life are
temporary and you have to move on, no matter what.
Also, if you train yourself to smile a lot and be polite
to the people around you, you might discover that, in fact,
this actually represents an efficient medicine against bad
thoughts and a healthy attitude towards life can sometimes
play a crucial role.
Nevertheless, remember to seek out the lesson you should
learn after a disgraceful occurrence.
Have a learning attitude towards whatever happened and try
to convince yourself that all is for your own interest -
after all everything bad that happens to you can only make
you wiser, stronger and contributes to your self-
improvement, if you know how to turn the situation in your
favor.
When there is an extremely difficult problem to solve and
no solution seems to fit in, remember to change the
perspective from which you’re analyzing the data. Getting
awfully frustrated and not being able to think clearly,
will definitely not lead you to resolving the issue.
On the other hand, if you meditate and try to observe the
situation form another perspective, which is, if not
better, at least less harmful, you might soon identify a
way to solve the problem.
If your worries are related to your future, strive to
impose to yourself that you can reach the goal, no matter
what!
You have to have a winner’s attitude in order to defeat
the problems. This is why, you also have to remember that,
in a certain way, the others share the same attitude that
you have for yourself.
Consequently, if you’re nervous, afraid you might fail,
unconvinced with your actions, etc. people around you will
perceive you exactly as you perceive yourself.
Not in vain do they say that what others think about
ourselves, is in fact, the reflection of our actions, which
is actually the reflection of our attitudes.
The good thing about attitudes is that one can change or
educate them and it has been proven that a good attitude
toward everything around you is more efficient than any
drug. It’s free and it can only produce good results, so
have an open attitude about it!

In ecology, a niche refers to the place or position occupied by an organism or a population within an ecological community called the ecosystem.
It is the term which defines the role the organism or the population plays in the general scheme of things. The niche an organism or a population holds is the one responsible for dictating the ability of the species to survive.
It is the one which spells whether an organism or a population will perish or thrive.
In marketing, a niche refers to a service or a product that occupies a special area of demand. It is that small corner in the market that accounts for a certain kind of specialty concerning an unmet customer need.
To be able to attract a strong, solid market, the choice of a niche product should ultimately complement the website one owns. It is through this scheme that he is able to generate a specific market for the niche product he is trying to sell.
Niches are involved in niche marketing, the process of finding market segments that are small but potentially profitable nonetheless.
To maintain a profitable quantity of sales, this marketing strategy relies on increasing the loyalty of customers so that their corporate objectives will be met or surpassed.
Illustrative of this is the fact that the quality of the product or service sold will generate customer satisfaction and, consequently, customer loyalty.
The result is profitability garnered through a solid market base that trusts in the ability of the product or service to really deliver.
One of the great things about niche marketing is that it encourages those who indulge in it to be unique and one-of-a-kind.
Here one is not forced into the lion’s den and made to compete against established marketers. He is made to occupy a strong and secure position that ultimately wins him a real place in the market.
Niche marketing differs from other online marketing strategies because this particular quality allows it to operate almost autonomously and without having to contend with corporate sharks that tear each other to pieces.
One of the most important things that should be thought over by those involved in this type of business is the niche business that is going to be involved in the process.
It is important to consider the type of business that one is going to work on to be able to ensure himself of the success that he hopes to have.
It is also important for him to know everything about the niche business at hand. Learning the tricks of the trade in is one of the things that one could do to make a niche business prosper tremendously.
Being able to reach the niche market is another consideration to make. In doing so, one should know the exact phrases that people are searching for.
The use of tools can help a lot in knowing the type of keywords that should be used to make the business profitable. Targeting the right keywords does a lot in making this type of business soar.
Those who engage in niche marketing know that determining the potential of a niche before doing everything else is a must if one wants to save all the time and effort that might be wasted if he plunges into everything head on.
Building a niche marketing site that proves to be profitable should be done after an unsatisfied customer demand is identified, and marketing the site appropriately by reaching out to customers the best possible way is what niche marketers should consider if they want their business to reach skyrocketing success.
Is niche marketing needed in a world teeming with a hundred like systems designed for people to make money online? Those who know how the system works will answer in the affirmative, because niche marketing is the only system capable of filling up a gaping hole in the market by catering to the unsatisfied needs of customers - needs that are usually not given notice by those in the big league.
Though niche marketing, one is able to gain a foothold in the market by being a needle in a haystack. Small and inconspicuous it may be, but its ability to sting someone so madly once it is found will render him more than surprised.

Why You Should Promote Residual Affiliate Programs
February 16, 2006 1:26 amAre you a webmaster in need of additional income? Or are you planning to set up an online business but you still don’t have any product to sell?
If so, affiliate marketing may be the best solution for your problems. With affiliate marketing, you won’t need to worry about the products you have to sell.
All you need to have is a website with sufficient contents that are related to the products of a certain online company offering affiliate programs.
By becoming a member of the program, or by becoming an affiliate, you can start earning a certain amount of money right away!
Affiliate marketing is some sort of business relationship established between a merchant and his affiliates. In affiliate marketing, an affiliate agrees to direct some traffic to a merchant’s website.
If that traffic is converted into some kind of action, like a visitor purchasing a product on the merchant’s website or a visitor becoming a lead for the company, the affiliate who directed the traffic will be compensated.
Compensation may take the form of either a percentage sales commission for the sales generated or a fixed fee predetermined upon the application of the affiliate on the merchant’s affiliate program.
Promising a lot of benefits both for the merchants and the affiliates, affiliate marketing has become one of the most popular online marketing methods today.
In fact, almost every merchant or retailer site today offers an affiliate program that any one can join into.
Most retailers would entice people to become affiliates or members of their program by promising great benefits like large commissions, lifetime commissions, click through incomes and a lot of other benefits.
But would all these affiliate programs bring off the same benefits?
Most affiliate programs would pay you, as an affiliate, a one-time commission for every sale or lead you brought to the merchant’s website.
Commissions for this kind of affiliate programs are usually large, ranging from 15% to a high of 95%.
Other affiliate programs would pay you a fixed fee for every click through or traffic you send to the merchant’s site.
Programs like this often pay a smaller fee for every click through, usually not getting any larger than half a dollar.
The good thing about this kind of program, however, is that the visitor won’t have to purchase anything in order for the affiliate to get compensated.
Another type of affiliate program is the residual income affiliate program. Residual affiliate programs usually pay only a small percentage of sales commission for every sale directed by the affiliate to the merchant’s site.
This commission often comes only in the range of 10% to 20% sales commission. Because of this, many people ignore residual affiliate program and would rather opt for the high paying one-time commission affiliate program.
Are these people making a mistake, or are they making the right decision?
I can’t tell, for sure, if people are making a mistake by choosing a high paying one-time commission affiliate program.
But we can definitely say that they are making a large mistake if they ignore residual affiliate programs.
Residual affiliate programs would indeed pay at a lower rate, but merchants offering such kind of programs would generally pay you regular and ongoing commissions for a single affiliate initiated sale!
That means, for the same effort you made in promoting a particular affiliate program, you get paid only once in a one-time commission program, and a regular and ongoing commission for a residual program!
So, are the benefits of promoting residual affiliate programs clearer to you now? Or are they still vague? If they are still vague, then let’s make them a bit clearer with this example.
Suppose there are two online merchants both offering web hosting services on their sites. The first merchant offers a one-time commission type of affiliate program that pays $80 for every single affiliate initiated sale.
The second merchant also offers an affiliate program, but this time a residual affiliate program that pays only $10 for every single affiliate initiated sale.
As an affiliate, we may get attracted at once at what the first merchant is offering, as $80 is definitely a lot larger than $10.
But by thinking things over before actually getting into them, one may be able to see that the second merchant is offering us more opportunity to earn a larger amount of money.
Supposed you have directed traffic to the merchant and it converted into a sale, you’ll get paid once by the first merchant for the sale you have initiated.
But with the second merchant, you’ll get paid monthly for as long as the customer you have referred to the merchant continues to avail of the web hosting service.
That means that for the same effort of getting one customer to avail of the merchant’s service, you get paid monthly in residual affiliate programs while you only get paid once in a one-time commission type of affiliate programs.
So, are residual affiliate programs worth promoting? Definitely yes, because you virtually get more money from these types of affiliate programs in the long run!
And would residual affiliate programs work best for you? Probably not, probably yes. It is not really for me to tell.
But with the benefits that residual affiliate marketing can provide, it would really be unwise to ignore such programs.
A list of resudual programs can be found here.

How Many Affiliate Checks Do You Want To Receive?
February 14, 2006 12:17 amAffiliate Marketing is by far, one of the easiest ways to make money online. It is a revenue sharing business relationship between the affiliate who agrees to promote the products or services, and the merchant who offers them.
The affiliate advertises the merchant’s products and services and gets a commission for every successful referral. Every time a customer is referred to the merchant’s site, through the affiliate’s efforts, and makes a purchase, the affiliate gets a share of the profit.
No payment is due to the affiliate until successful results are realized. Compensation is based on either number of visits (Pay-per-click), registrant (Pay-per-lead), or commission for each sale (Pay-per-sale).
Affiliate Marketers can earn a few bucks to thousands of dollars with affiliate programs. The opportunity to earn in affiliate marketing can only be limited by the affiliate’s determination, creativity and strategy.
It is a brilliant way to earn online, and you do not have to produce your own product or service to make a buck. By advertising your merchant’s products passionately, you get more in return.
Profits in affiliate marketing usually start small but can get larger as the campaign starts to build up steam.
There are many ways that an affiliate marketer can do to maximize their profits. If you ask any affiliate marketer how many affiliate checks they would want to receive, they will most likely want to get as many as possible.
Some affiliate checks are small, amounting to nothing more than $25.
While others are large and can easily reach the thousands and even more. Over time, these affiliate checks may build up to a really impressive amount.
However, making a fortune in affiliate marketing is not instant. You should put in enough work and effort as well. You have to use your imagination to find more ways to attract more web traffic that can convert to sales for the merchant and profit for you as well.
How many affiliate checks do you want to receive? Most affiliate marketers will enthusiastically reply that they want to receive as many affiliate checks as possible.
However, is it as easy as it sounds? Does joining many affiliate marketers guarantee more affiliate checks that really amount to something? The answer is No.
Most affiliate marketers assume that joining multiple affiliate programs is a wise option. Because, it is very easy to join affiliate programs and there is really nothing to lose, affiliate marketers are tempted to join as many programs they can get their hands on.
Thus, they fail to give their affiliate programs enough attention and work that they ought to receive. The maximum potential of the affiliate programs are not realized and the resulting income from these programs will almost certainly be disappointing.
The best way to achieve multiple streams of income is to concentrate on one affiliate program first. Choose a product or service that you can promote passionately.
Pick a product in which you have complete trust. The best products and services to promote are those that you use personally. Your prospects will be able to sense your sincerity whenever you promote a product that you have experienced.
This will greatly enhance your credibility as well as your product’s marketability and will really encourage your prospect to purchase or avail of the product or service.
As soon as your first affiliate program is making a reasonable profit then you can proceed to joining another affiliate program and repeat the process.
“Too much, too soon” is a common pitfall in affiliate marketing. Joining too many affiliate programs simultaneously in the hopes of having multiple streams of income simply does not work.
Focus first on one affiliate program and work on it so that it makes a good profit. Then, go find another promising program and give it your best effort.
The question should not be how many affiliate checks you want to receive, but how many “high-paying” affiliate checks can you receive. The answer lies in your determination to succeed and determination to maximize your earning potential.
With the right tools, the right actions, and perseverance you can definitely make a good profit out of affiliate marketing.

5 Things You Must Have To Succeed In Affiliate Marketing
February 11, 2006 11:59 pmThe idea of being mere passengers on a ship meant to sail to the farthest points does not appeal to people who like to put their destiny into their own hands.
They have the desire of maneuvering the ships themselves, of being able to be the ones to take it anywhere they want to.
Being aboard a ship on its way to a particularly great destination is something each and every one of them dreams of, and the knowledge that they have the capacity to steer it themselves is what makes them actually want to.
Perhaps this is the reason why more and more people are succumbing to one of the most popular businesses around – affiliate marketing. It is because in this business, there are no bosses to order the employees around.
There are no deadlines to meet and no clutter of work do to. One only needs to be equipped with the tools needed to succeed in a business such as this, and he is bound to get what his heart ultimately desires.
Just what are the things needed to be able to succeed in affiliate marketing? What must one have within himself to be able to do well in this industry?
There is a lot of competition involved in affiliate marketing, and to be able to rise above the norm, one must be equipped with just the right stuff necessary to propel him forward.
There are five things one must ultimately possess if he wants to achieve the glory he is yearning for in this business, and these five things are a must for him to possess to be able to stand out among the rest.
The very first quality one must possess if he wants to try his hand in affiliate marketing is the willingness to learn and be trained. Treading through unfamiliar territory is scary stuff if one is not properly equipped, and he might get lost amidst a jungle of the unknown.
Learning the tricks of the trade is also an important aspect of the game, and one’s willingness to know it all will give him far better advantages in the business than he could ever imagine.
The second quality one must possess is the willingness to invest time and effort even if direct results do not seem at all apparent. Although several months may pass without good news, it is important for one who has his foot in the industry to hold on and wait.
It is this quality which would save him from giving up after investing a lot of himself in the business.
The third quality one must possess is self-determination. If one wants to conquer the affiliate marketing world, he must have the ability to push himself ahead.
Never having to say die is a quality each and every affiliate marketer should possess, and the ability to motivate oneself into scaling greater heights is an ability which would actually take an affiliate marketer there.
The fourth quality one must possess is discipline. If one knows how to teach himself to work everyday with all the energy he can muster, then he is close to achieving what he has set his heart to having in the first place.
The fifth and last quality one must possess is optimism. Negative attitudes and hearsays should not discourage an affiliate marketer from pursuing what he has to in order to make life better for himself and for everyone concerned.
Neither should anyone influence his attitude toward the business, because once in it, it is a must for him to be the captain of his ship and the master of his soul.
The ingredients to success in a business such as affiliate marketing are diverse and manifold, but the most important thing one needs to be able to make it big lies in himself alone.
It is he who has the capacity to do everything to be able to realize his prospects, and the desire which fuels his heart in doing so is the gasoline which should keep the engine going.
Affiliate marketing is all about putting one’s fate into his own hands. The right attitude is the key to being able to steer one’s ship into that part of the ocean where a certain kind of serenity can be found, one that permeates the atmosphere as the ship sails calmly on.

February 06 2nd Week
1:40 amArticle marketing seems to be the latest rage lately - and
with good reason. It’s by far one of the best method of
promoting your business, building your subscriber list and
increasing your profits.
By submitting your articles to article directories,
article announcement lists and ezine publishers you
accomplish several things.
First, you establish yourself as an expert in your field.
Readers are more likely to listen to you if they feel you
know what you are talking about.
Second, by attaching a resource box to your article, you
are giving the reader a link to your website. If the reader
is impressed with your knowledge, they will likely click on
your link to see what it is that you are offering.
Third, you increase your search engine page rank by
providing a non-reciprocal link to your website. Search
engines seem to give extra weight to non-reciprocal links
in their page rankings.
But many marketers are not comfortable writing their own
articles. They just do not know how to put their thoughts
into words. Or worse yet, they do not have any thoughts
worth printing.
That is why private label articles are in such high demand
these days. There are several of these services available
and more seem to be popping up every day.
Therein lies the problem. Depending on how these articles
are used, the results can be good, bad, or downright ugly.
The Good: As stated previously, private label articles,
when used correctly, can give the non-writer a big
advantage over other marketers. They can increase your
traffic, sales, and opt in subscribers. That is good.
The Bad: A common mistake made by marketers using private
label articles is getting lazy. They simply copy and paste
the article and submit it, as is, with no personalization.
At the very least, you should change the title. Most
article directories require that your article be approved
before they are posted. But do you really think they read
every article that comes in? Not likely.
They get dozens, even hundreds of submissions every day,
so it’s unlikely that your article will actually be read.
But most directory software will automatically search
their database for duplicate titles. If the title of your
article matches one in their database, yours will be
rejected.
So do yourself a favor and at the very least, change the
title. It might also be a good idea to change the wording
in the first paragraph.
The Ugly: Many marketers load so many links in their
article that it becomes one long ad. This will not only get
you rejected, but eventually banned if you do it often
enough.
A good article contains useful information to the reader
whether they buy your products or not. Give them good
content and you will increase the chances that they will
click your link in the resource box.
Private label articles are a great tool, but do not get
lazy!
You can find Private label articles sites by clicking here.
Follow these steps and you’ll begin to see a vast
improvement in your results.
All the best and have a great week

Ten Breakthrough Marketing Ideas…
1. Create a directory of web sites on a specific topic.
Give people the option of adding the
directory to their web site by linking to it. Put your
business advertisement at the top of the
director’s home page. This technique will get lots of
people to linkto your web site and give you free advertising.
2. Do you have a product or service that doesn’t sell
good? Offer it as a free bonus for someone else’s product
or service. Get free advertising by placing your web site
or business ad on the product or in the product package.
3. Trade autoresponder ads with other businesses. If both
of you send out information with auto-responders just
exchange a small classified ad to put at the bottom or top
of each other’s autoresponder message.
4. Start a free tip line. Offer a free daily, weekly, or
monthly tip recorded on your voice mail. The tips should be
related to your business. Include your ad for your web site
or business at the beginning or end of your message.
5. Exchange content with other web sites and ezines. You
could trade articles, top ten lists, etc. Both parties
could include a resource box at the end of the content.
6. Offer to insert ads into your product package for other
businesses. Just ask, in return that they do the same for
your business. You should only trade insert ads with
businesses that have the same target audience.
7. Offer a free daily class in your web site’s chat room.
The class should be related to the subject of your business
or web site. This will get people to visit your web site
everyday.
8. Do you have a product that doesn’t sell good? Offer it
as a free bonus for another businesses product or service.
You’ll get free advertising by placing your web site or
business ad on the free bonus.
9. Place different emotional response ads for the same
product or service all over your web site. One ad may hit
their hot button to buy more than another ad.
10. Publish your e-zine in e-book format. You could offer
a larger number of articles per issue.
It also allows you to include graphics with your
ezine.Your advertising revenue would increase
because you could charge businesses for large color ads.

Lose the Laziness - Five Can Do Tasks to Set your Goals in
Motion!
If you’re having problems with self motivation examine
your self closely. Could it be that you’re in a mode of
laziness because you just don’t want to get busy?
We all have those times and there is nothing wrong with
having a bad day, but if you’re in that mood constantly you
might have a problem with self esteem. You’re the only one
that can fix it, so get up and start again. Work on the
problems of self doubt that are leading you down this
wasteful path. Only you can fix it.
However, there could be other physical problems that you
might need to get checked out with a health care
professional. Problems that you might not be aware of such
as diabetes, low thyroid, or a host of any other type of
medical issues can get you bogged down.
So if after a reasonable amount of time, and with due work
on your part, things just aren’t changing, get checked out.
It’s your health and life.
Okay, what can you do if you’re just feeling bummed out?
You need to get your life on track to reach a few goals
that you’ve had in mind for a while, what can you do?
Here are a few tips that will set you back on track to get
a little boost back into your goal setting routine, and
motivate you to just keep at it!
Write your goals down and keep them where you can see it.
Not stuck in a drawer out of site, but out in the open
where you can view it each day. It’s like bills, if you
don’t see it; it’s out of sight and out of mind. If it’s
hidden in a drawer, you might as well have not written a
thing because it won’t do one bit of good to help you reach
a goal.
Start with small goals. Don’t try to accomplish the whole
goal at one time. In fact you’ll need to take a look at
your goal and break it down into parts. Write down your
ideas about the specific short term goals and prioritize.
Then take little steps towards your long term goal or goals.
Buy some post-it notes and prepare to post your goals.
Place these strategically around your home or office. Along
with your posted goals include the positives and negatives
about not reaching your end result. It doesn’t have to be
long, but short little reminders of the consequences. It’s
a wake up call towards action.
Don’t just try to reach your goal once. When your goals
are completed, start on new goals. Make it your routine to
start on new goals regularly. You’ll find that once you
accomplish your first goal, it will drive you to succeed in
further goals, again and again.
Enlist the help of others, either to motivate you and
inspire more action on your part, or just to be an
encouraging friendly ear when you feel yourself grinding to
a halt.
If necessary find yourself a reliable life coach to help
you when you’re feeling the task is just too much. Often
though just a friend is all that’s necessary. You can even
work together if you’re on the same type of path or goal.
There’s nothing like achieving a goal that you poured your
heart and soul into. It’s exciting to reach it, and when
you do take some time and savor the moment!
It might be a wise idea to reward yourself before you have
attained your final destination. For example, if you’re
dieting, and you’re just about to eat the upholstery off
the couch, count up the lbs you’ve lost, and eat a small
piece of dieters chocolate cake!
Now, take a deep breath and realize that your back on your
diet, and can begin counting those lbs again that you’re
going to loose. Don’t become discouraged - you can achieve
that final goal of buying some new clothes, or even taking
a night out on the town for some fun when you’ve reached
your final goal.

Comment on articles I’ve run in the newsletter, give me
your thoughts on changes or your ad testing results or
questions relating to your business, etc.
In other words, just talk to me about what you think I
need to do to improve the newsletter.
Be sure to include your website address too, because if
I use your comments in a future issue of the newsletter,
I’ll thank you by posting your address so that you can get
additional free traffic to your site!

That’s a Wrap for this Week

That wraps up another week’s newsletter and I hope you
enjoyed this issue.
Don’t forget to send me any comments or questions you
may have to the Feedback Loop. I would be only too happy to
help you in any way that I can.
From time to time I’ll send you important updates
that will provide information that has the potential to
greatly improve your online business… and of course
your profits!
However, you can rest assured that I will only ever
recommend products that are considered to be of HIGH value
and will provide indisputably benefits to help you grow
your business… that’s my guarantee!
Your friend,
Gilles Rais
