How To Find The Road To Success In Internet Marketing

May 18, 2006 1:25 am

We’re all looking for that magical road that will lead us to success as an internet marketer. Unfortunately it doesn’t exist - you must create it.

It sounds like a lot of hard work to succeed as an internet marketer, but fortunately it is not as difficult as it may seem.

Naturally, the first step is to decide what you would like to achieve. You would never plan a vacation without a destination in mind.

Nor will you get very far down the road to success if you don’t first take the time to decide what success really means.

What exactly to do you want to do or achieve as an internet marketer? You must develop a business plan in order to make things happen.

Outline the steps you need to take in advance of starting your internet marketing business.

Every internet marketer has faced challenges and unexpected turns in the road to success. Stick to your plan and be flexible in your approach to developing your business.

Research the products and services you intend to provide and implement your plan with determination.

You can create an extremely profitable internet marketing business if you follow your plan closely but allow yourself the flexibility to make modifications

Do not expect to get rich quickly or become a success over night. You will achieve your goals through perseverance.

The time you spend planning and developing your business is an investment in your future. You are creating a business that will provide you with a long-term stream of income.

Do not cut corners or attempt to speed the process. The success of your internet marketing business is worth the time it requires to build it.

It can be very helpful to you to find like-minded associates who share your problems and challenges in building an internet marketing business.

Meet them in the Warrior forum, a large and successful marketing community.

The encouragement and sympathy you will receive from those who are in the same position as you is quite valuable and you will reap great rewards from these associations.

Your road to success as an internet marketer will need to be strewn with mile markers along the way. You will to need to know how far you’ve come and how far you need to go.

If you’ve taken the time to plan appropriately, you’ll have a list of short-term goals that lead to your ultimate goal. Celebrate each and every one of these successes along the way.

You’ll need them to keep track of your progress.

The road to success as an internet market is paved with milestones and bumps along the way. No matter what challenges or problems you face, stick to your plan and be determined in executing each step.

You can build a highly profitable internet marketing business if you give your best effort each day.

You must be bold and demonstrate the desire to succeed in every thing you do. Creating income from your own internet marketing business requires perseverance and flexibility.

Keep your eyes on the road and soon you will find you have reached your destination. Do your homework before you begin your journey and plan your route carefully.

With patience and determination you will reach your ultimate destination sooner that you anticipated.

Do you want to know the quickest way to fast-track your
way to success? Do you want to shorten your learning curve
by years?

The answer is simple. Attend a seminar!

Seminars provide the opportunity to learn from the best.
Those who put on a seminar are there for a reason, they are
very good at what they do. They offer their expertise
willingly to anyone wishing to listen to it, for a price of
course.

Let’s look at four solid reasons why seminars pack the
most punch for your learning dollar.

1. You will learn more in a day than you will in a month.

Seminars are designed to give you the maximum amount of
information into a predetermined period of time. Seminars
can range from a couple of hours to a full week retreat.

2. You get to learn from the best.

You get to sit in the same room with an expert and listen
to them share their wisdom and knowledge. It’s a shame that
many people cannot see the opportunity in this. An expert
knows what information to provide to achieve maximum
results in the least amount of time.

3. Your part of the action.

What better way is there to absorb information quickly
than being a part of the action. This allows you to focus
and absorb what is being presented to you.

You also get to meet and talk to other like-minded people
so you can build a great network that you can joint venture
with at a later date.

4. Seminars provide tools of the trade.

When you attend most seminars, as part of the deal you get
either a workbook or a DVD set that you can take home and
study. Now regardless of whether this may be included in
the cost of the seminar or it offered for sale, many people
underestimate the value of these tools.

These products are designed to help you continue and re-
enforce what you have learned from the seminar. Why spend
the money to attend if you are not planning to put the
information you’ve learned to good use?

If the seminar provided value to you it should be a sure
bet that the book, workbook, audio or video series should
also have value.

Whether you are looking to improve your life, make more
money, plan for your retirement or even learn how to tie
fishing flies. Someone is out there willing to help you
achieve your goals with the tools in hand to get you there
as quickly as possible.

So if you get the opportunity, take the time to attend at
least one seminar this year!

Do Mentorship Programs Really Work?

Mentorship programs are becoming increasingly popular on
the Internet. Usually, they require a significant
investment of money and time - but are they worth it?

Imagine this scenario.

You get out of bed early (as usual), sit down at the
computer and open your email program. As you watch a flood
of emails pour in, you feel overwhelmingly tired.

This is understandable: you’re putting in hours and hours
at the computer. You’ve tried one income-earning method
after another; you’ve worked on building your list; you’ve
uploaded a ton of content to your sites.

Surely it should be getting close to ‘pay off‘ time? Yet
the income level never seems to go up…

It’s definitely one of those “Should I just give up and
look for a real job?” days.

Then an email header catches your eye. It says “Don’t Use
Johnny Marketer’s New Software Before You Read This!” You
realize it’s a subject line deliberately crafted to get
attention, but it’s also from one of the marketing ‘gurus’
that you actually trust. You are pretty sure that there’s
substance behind this bold statement.

Jaded as you might be, your interest is piqued. You’d been
thinking of buying this new software. You’ve been trying
not to put too much on your credit card, but if it helps
your bottom line… Hmmmm, you’d better check this out and
make sure you are not wasting your money.

You open the email and find a short paragraph advising you
that this information is essential reading for any would-be
buyer. There’s a link directing you to read the rest of the
story on the website. You click through… and you find a
credible explanation of why you shouldn’t use this software
before you learn a few essential facts.

In essence, your trusted guru is explaining that without
key knowledge that surrounds the use of this software, your
chances of success go way down. It’s a brilliant product,
he admits… but there are five essential techniques that
will guarantee better results. He’s going to explain the
most important one in detail.

And he does. He also briefly lists the other four
techniques. You have enough understanding of the Internet
to know that this is really good stuff. You’d love to have
the other four techniques fully explained, but this
valuable information is available only to those in his
mentorship program.

You sit and think. You click a link and read the details
of the program. It runs for a year and you are guaranteed
an in-depth analysis of your current situation and a step-
by-step plan for growth. You will find out the best current
software and approaches to use. It sounds perfect for where
you are now. However, it costs big bucks.

You mull it over some more. Your mind goes over the
struggles you’ve had to date, and the thought of a helping
hand is incredibly tempting. You could really do with that
objective overview of your business. Your hand hovers over
the mouse - and finally, you click through and sign up.

Will this be worth it to you? It could be - but this
depends on several factors.

1. The Promise: What does the mentor actually promise to do?

- Is there a guaranteed figure or result, or does he just
promise to work with you and show you the way?
- Is there a safety net if he doesn’t deliver?
- What exactly does he require from YOU in order to
achieve what he promises?

2. Credibility: Do you have good reasons for believing
that your mentor will deliver the goods?

- Does he have a background of success himself? Is he
living what he preaches?
- Have you purchased other lesser-priced products from
this person? Did they deliver?
- Has he coached others to success before you?
- Does he have the ability to TEACH as well as DO?

3. Your Own Work Ethic: Will YOU deliver the goods?

- Are you prepared to work hard to make the most of your
time?
- Can you take direction? Do you usually work well with
others?
- Are you willing to believe that an experienced marketer
can see your business path more clearly than you can?
- Can you stick it out for the full year?

4. Can You Afford It?

- Can you afford the payment without unnecessary hardship?
- Can you afford the time?
- Can you afford the emotional investment?

A good mentor can save you days, weeks and years of errors
and frustration. A bad mentor can result in your losing
money, time and even your health. Before you sign up,
evaluate the program and your mentor carefully. If you
decide to commit, be prepared to work hard to achieve the
results you desire.

Are You Overstressed?

Have you been feeling extremely tired lately? Are your
muscles sore and are you lacking energy for the activities
you love? Do you or your mate seem moody, crying for no
reason and unmotivated?

While we commonly complain of stress headaches, sore backs
and a lack of sleep these can all be signs of overstress
and can interfere with our quality of life and enjoyment.
What can you do if you or a family member is overstressed?

What makes you overstressed?

The key to understanding overstress is not merely a list
of sources of stress; it is how we are personally coping
with these sources.

What would seem to be manageable stress to one person may
be overstress to another. Some researchers suggest that our
ability to handle life’s stresses may have as much to do
with our inherited tolerance as with our lifestyle. What is
crucial though is identifying the symptoms of overstress
and learning to adapt our lifestyle to reduce stress.

While we may all have different tolerances for stress it
is also true that certain lifestyles or changes in
lifestyle can lead to overstress - marriage, divorce, death
of a loved one, job change, job loss or debts are all major
stresses.

Other factors such as allergies, shift work, strained
relationships and too much work are also stresses that in
combination can add up to overstress.

How do I know if I’m overstressed?

While scientifically overstress leads to a series of
chemical imbalances in our system, it is most easily
recognized by the symptoms of these imbalances: fatigue due
to lack of restful sleep, sore muscles due to a lower pain
tolerance and a negative mood due to a lack of energy and
‘feel good’ chemicals in our system.

If you don’t think that you’ve been feeling the physical
effects of overstress perhaps you should look at your
lifestyle.

Are you handling fatigue with caffeine and sugar?

Are alcohol or drugs helping you sleep or providing you a
‘feel good’ high?

Are you relying on the adrenaline of working too much for
the positive energy your body and mind needs?

How do I handle overstress?

The first step in handling overstress is to recognize your
tolerance. Since everyone has a different level only you
can start reading your body’s signals and responding to
them.

Lessening your burdens by simplifying your life may just
mean saying no to some extracurricular activities or may
mean a complete change in occupation or lifestyle.

If you are anticipating a large change in your life such
as a new baby or moving to a new home, perhaps you need to
remove
other obligations to make room for these changes.

Exercising at least 20 minutes three times per week and
reducing or eliminating crutches such as alcohol, caffeine,
sugar or drugs will also help the body find balance.

We are living in a world that encourages highly driven,
‘type-A’ personalities. For the good or bad we are not all
made equal and to lead the most contented life it is
important to set limits for ourselves based on our personal
abilities.

Having a low tolerance for stress is no more a fault than
needing glasses or being shorter than average - it does
however require us to accommodate our tolerance and take on
only as much as our bodies can adequately handle.

Learning our stress tolerance and responding accordingly
can change our entire outlook on life. By regularly taking
stock of your stress level and making the necessary changes
you will find yourself enjoying life more than you thought
possible.

A Unique Ladder Of Success Revealed

May 15, 2006 12:12 am

The Internet has opened a whole New World of opportunity for even the smallest home-based business owner.

There are countless numbers of new self-made millionaires who have achieved their newfound success on the Internet.

They started their Internet businesses from the ground up, found a niche, and built their success one day at a time.

So the question is; Can you really make the same money and success on the Internet?

The fact is that you too can really make money on the Internet, a lot of money. You must take the necessary steps though to make it happen. You must have a desire to succeed and the attitude for success.

Do you want to be an Internet success in a few weeks or in just a short few months down the road? If you are sincerely passionate about your success, you will succeed.

There is so much to learn about Internet marketing that sometimes it can get overwhelming, especially if you are just starting out.

What you learn can be translated into cash when you apply your knowledge to succeeding online. We hear a lot about people making obscene amounts of money online.

Most of it is true. Some of it is just plain hype.

The true secret to creating a successful Internet business is pure determination. Most people fail just at the moment they are about to succeed.

Why? Because they give up. They lack the true passion that it takes to succeed. As long as you keep trying, you’ll never fail.

Below is a list of what most success stories feel are the most important ingredients for Internet success:

Sincere passion. In order to be successful, you must be completely passionate about your business and your success.

If you don’t have “sincere” passion, you won’t have the necessary personal drive that it takes to succeed.

Your own domain. Businesses hosted on a free server are not taken seriously and are generally considered to be unprofessional.

If a company doesn’t care enough about its business to get its own domain name, potential customers may not feel comfortable doing business with them. Get cheap domain names at www.GoDaddy.com.

A company with its own domain name and a professional looking website will have a much higher rate of success when compared with most business sites hosted on free servers.

Your domain name should be broad enough that you can grow your business without making that name obsolete.

You must provide your visitors with fresh content on a continual basis. To create a steady stream of traffic to your website, you must give your visitors a reason to visit and continue to visit in the future.

Text should be easy to read and easy to assess. The basis of any website should be well written body text, even if you have the most amazing animations or videos to share.

Targeted traffic. Your website may receive hundreds of visitors each day. However, if they aren’t interested in the products or services you’re offering, your web traffic won’t mean a thing.

You must drive a continuous stream of targeted traffic to your website.

Killer Sales Copy. Your words are the entire foundation of your business. Your product, website and marketing strategies all co-depend upon your words.

You must learn how to write persuasive words specifically written for your targeted customer. You must feel your customer’s needs and write your copy with passion, excitement, and benefit.

Killer marketing strategy. Developing a successful marketing strategy is an essential part of your online success.

In order to succeed, you must develop and implement a strategic plan that includes a great product, a website specifically designed to sell, and a killer marketing strategy.

Each plays an important role in your overall strategy and must be developed to its fullest potential. If even one step fails, your chances of success will be minimal.

Accepting credit cards is an absolute must. If you’re doing business on the Internet, you must provide your visitors with an easy online ordering process and the ability to pay for their order right online.

Your attitude is the most important factor in determining your success. You must think positively and be willing to tackle any obstacle that comes along.

The fact is, you can do whatever you put your mind to. You simply have to believe you can and believe in yourself above all else.

7 Common Psychological Factors That Determine The Decision To Buy A Product Either Online Or Offline

May 12, 2006 8:24 pm

In our daily lives, we are always affected by outer influences that greatly affect our daily decisions. It may be a thing that we can see or an emotion that we can only feel.

Sometimes we are also affected by some factors that we can never clearly explain, like our intuitions or the so called sixth sense.

Then of course there is the influence of people we trust, like family and friends, from whom we seek advice.

We sometimes make decisions based on our own beliefs and other times based on what other people tell us.

But in the world of psychology, they have categorized these reasons and have come up with lists of the most common factors that affect a buyer’s decision.

First thing is the Post Purchase Behavior; what is meant by this term is that a certain individual has learned something from his previous purchase that may affect his future product purchase.

Like for example, he bought a gift for a certain individual that is close to him, thinking confidently that the person would like what he bought.

He gives it anxiously to that person, only to find out that it is not even close to what that person likes, causing a great disparity in what he believes the person likes then and now.

Sometimes the buyer also feels a period of anxiety known as cognitive dissonance; the consumer is not sure whether he or she has made the right decision.

This kind of psychological effect is greater when the price is high and when alternatives are similar. It is also a great deal when the purchase is perceived to be important.

Buyers try to reduce dissonance by seeking positive reinforcement.

Cultural Influence is also a great psychological factor that affects a buyer’s decision. As obvious as it is, buying decisions are influenced by social forces.

Cultural influence has the most indirect impact that affects a buyers purchasing decision. We are all a product of handed – down culture, and this influence changes very slowly over time.

One good example of this is the multicultural countries of Canada. Ethnic subcultures have a profound effect on how Canadians live their lives.

The most obvious subcultural differences are between French and English–Canadian, although many other subcultures exist as well.

Social Class Influence is another thing; social class represents an interesting way to look at a market. Social class is influenced by such factors like education, occupation, and place of residence.

This can be used as a basis of segmenting or grouping the markets and may reflect the aspirations of consumers.

Social Classes exist whether people care to believe it and admit it or not. Differences in beliefs and attitudes exists across class boundaries and social class may be a better predictor of buyers’ behavior than income.

Because basically, people who are in the high class of society can afford a much higher value than compared to the groups that belong to the lower or middle class.

Next is the Reference Group Influence. This refers to the groups we interact with and who influence our attitudes, values, and behaviors.

Small reference groups establish norms that influence purchase decisions and their word-of-mouth is considered to be more powerful than advertising and other commercial forces.

The family and household are considered to be very influential when it comes to these kind of factors.

Motivation and Need is another thing that greatly affects a persons’ purchasing attitude. Motives are either physiological or psychological.

Need Motivation is a need sufficiently stimulated where an individual is moved to seek satisfaction.

Many different motives are often involved in a purchase.

Perception also greatly influences a buyers’ drive to buy. This is the process of receiving, organizing, and assigning a meaning to the stimuli that are detected by the senses.

This influence is impacted by selectivity. Selective Attention, which means that only those stimuli that capture and hold attention can be perceived.

Selective Distortion, this means that the consumer alters information that is inconsistent with their beliefs and attitudes, while Selective Retention is where consumers retain only part of what they perceive.

Learning is a very powerful form that influences buyers’ decisions. Learning something good or bad about a new thing can cause changes in a buyer’s decision-making process.

Personality and Decision are also great factors that influence a certain individual’s decision-making process.

Personality is a pattern of traits that influence behavior, but it is not always clear how personality affects consumption behavior.

A consumer tends to act in a way that is consistent with his or her self-concept.

Attitude is one of the most important concepts in understanding consumer behaviour; it is a learned disposition to act in a certain way.

Attitudes are formed over time, are slow to change, and are excellent predictors of behavior that can affect a buyer’s choice of product.

Make Money Working At Home - Internet Marketing Really Works

May 11, 2006 2:54 am

Like most people, you have probably wondered of you can make money working from your home.

Whether you just want to make extra cash each month or want to start a full time home-based business, you can earn steady income by selling products or services from your home.

All you need is the desire, the knowledge, and the determination. Internet marketing is one of the most profitable ventures you could embark upon.

Learning to use the tools that are available to you will greatly increase your chances of succeeding in the world of internet marketing.

Working from your home selling products or services is an excellent means of creating a steady income. Internet marketing will not make you an instant millionaire or give you instant rewards.

Building a profitable home-based business is no different from more traditional business ventures. It will take effort and wisdom on your part if you want to succeed.

Advertising, web site promotion, and hard work are the keys to making money working from home. Before you begin, research the products or services you intend to provide to determine the long-term marketability prospects.

You will want to provide products that will be in demand over time, not products that will sell for a very short time then fade away.

Internet marketing is a wonderful way to earn money if you make long term goals and follow and sound business plan.

Internet marketers have a real advantage when planning their business strategy. There is a wealth of information and tools that are available to you.

You can use this information to educate yourself on which products and services will continue to be in demand and you can also learn how to advertise in the most effective manner.

The availability of this information can make it easier for you to get started but it will not mean that you will make easy money.

Hard work is a necessary component of any successful business and internet marketing is not exception. You will have to build web sites that contain useful content and provide products or services that will endure the test of time.

Keep in mind that not every web site you build will make a profit. Diversity is a very important component of successful online businesses.

You cannot expect to build one web site and make a living from that site exclusively.

Internet marketing is an on-going process that you will have to tend to almost on a daily basis. Diversity and a strong work ethic are the most important factors in creating a successful home-based business.

Use the knowledge that has been gained by others to assist you in creating web sites that are profitable and will endure fluctuations in the market.

Do not expect to quit your present job, build a single web site, and begin making money right away.

Internet marketing takes planning and perseverance in order to create steady income that you can rely upon.

Some of the secrets and helpful advice of internet marketers who have already successfully started a home-based business is available to you online.

Do your homework before starting a home-based business, make a sound business plan, and work towards your long-term goals.

You can make money working from home if you prepare and execute your plan carefully.

May 06 2nd Week

May 9, 2006 5:51 pm

You probably already know this, but one of the easiest
ways to make huge profits on the net is to develop your own
product. This way you can get an army of affiliates working
for you to help you reach your income goals.

This is without question the ulitmate leverage to creating
a huge online income.

However one of the biggest complaints I continually hear
from people when I mention this model is that they don’t
have the skills to create their own product. With today’s
technology, nothing could be further from the truth.

Yes, that’s right. Regardless of who you are or what you
do… anyone cane create their own product.

For example, one of the best methods for developing your
own product is to create a DVD. Does that sound like a
viable business? Well, let us see…

First off you shoot a video tutorial and convert it to
DVD. The topic could be about anything you have knowledge
about. And if you think hard enough I’m positive you could
find something that others would be interested in learning
how to do.

Simply reach into your experience of things you have
learned or discovered how to do. You’ll be surprise how
often people are searching for information on the things
you take for granted!

In the unlikely even you simple can’t think of any topic
you could talk about, then uou could collect a number of
private label rights (PLR) products and convert them into
DVD format, and then sell them as a physical product.

This way you instantly create your own unique selling
position by being different to all the other people selling
the same stuff. You’d be surprise how many people prefer a
physical product rather than a digital product… and
they’re prepared to pay more just for the previlidge!

Ok. You’ve created your video tutorial or converted some
PLR’s to DVD. From there you can have the DVD duplicated
with four-color printing and have it in four-color printed
packaging which makes it look very professional.

This may cost you a couple dollars each, but that’s just
if you want to be fancy about it by using photographs.
Otherwise, two-color printing will work just fine.

Now your DVDs are ready to sell. From just a couple of
bucks for production costs, you can mark up your product as
you see fit. Charge $97.00 or $149.00 a copy, over and over
again.

You could even produce a set of DVD’s and charge $495.00.
It doesn’t take much to figure why people are becoming
wealthy doing this!

Like I mentiond before, the way way to make a valuable DVD
is to create a “show n tell” tutorial on how to do
something people want to do, or how to have something
people want to have.

This is the information age and if you put out the
information, and people are hungry for information. And the
truth is that if you are currently selling printed how-to
material, you can command a much higher price if you
provide that information in DVD format.

Information DVDs are perfect products to develop as they
are inexpensive to make, yet have a high-perceived value.
They are heavily in demand, and staggeringly easy to sell
for huge profits. The money you can generate from doing
this is truly outrageous!

Find PLR sites by clicking here.

Have a great week :-)

Residual Income - The Key to Online Success!

How would you like to make money even when you don’t go to
work? If you’re like most online marketers this is probable
one of the key reasons you started your online business.

But the key to achieve your dream is in have your work
continue to pay… you even when you stop. You need to find
a machine that continues to work even when you aren’t
there. This machine is called residual income.

Residual income means that once you have set the wheels in
motion you can continue to collect money - possibly forever
- even long after you stop promoting your product or
service!

Let’s face it. Who wouldn’t want to have a business that
puts money in your pocket day or night while you’re off
doing the things you love?

For many enterprising individuals earning a residual
income is a real reality. The concept is simple and by
understanding the business model that this principle
applies to, once you’ve done the hard work you can then
continue to benefit from it for many months to follow.

While writing an ebook or report is one of the most
popular methods of creating residual income, you can also
create other products such as tutorial videos, software
programs or even a physical products.

However if you’re not into creating your own products,
then the next best method is to promote affiliate services
that require monthly fees, such membership sites etc.

This way once you’ve referred a new referral, you will
continue to reap the benefits for as long as they remain a
member… without any additional effort!

The same is true if you choose to sell a product that is
made and delivered by another company - often called drop
shipping.

By creating a sales page that appeals to your audience you
can continue to collect profits on the sales of your
product or book without having to do the work.

If you have a special knowledge about a particular topic,
or if you are skilled at research and writing, you can
likely find a topic worth writing about.

If you need to sell with little overhead you can even
write a book in PDF format that can be downloaded rather
than traditionally printed and shipped to the buyer.

If you choose drop shipping of a physical product, find
something you can create an interesting website around.
Share lots of information with the prospective buyer and
create a professional sales page.

Whichever method you choose, the key is to setup your
business so that it is as automated as possible so that
once you’ve set it up you don’t have to continue working as
hard.

When you combine all this with the proper combination of
marketing and interested customers you can create a system
that works even when you don’t.

This Week’s Trivia Answer
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Here’s the answer to the trivia question I asked earlier…

What is the Slowest Growing Tree in the World?

The slowest-growing tree is a white cedar located in
Canada. After 155 years, it grew to a height of 10.2 cm (4
in.) and weighed only 17 g (0.6 oz), averaging a growth of
0.11 g (0.003 oz) each year.

The tree is found on a cliffside in the Canadian Great
Lakes area.

Healthy Body… Healthy Mind
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Tips on Training Your Mind!

Today’s fast paced life often puts every one of us in
difficult situations where stress and anxiety dominate our
day. The frequency and complexity of problems that arise
and need to be dealt with weakens both our minds and our
bodies, making us incapable of finding the right solutions.

There are several ways to improve your power of
concentration and to learn how to relax your mind and
prepare it for future struggles. Your body responds to what
your mind dictates, but most of the times it does this on a
subconscious level.

If you manage to tap into this vital resource, which is
your subconscious mind, you get an extra edge in dealing
with all problems that surround you.

First of all, try to change your daily routine. Not much,
just a bit, but be very conscious about the changes. In the
evening, try to recall all the events that took place in a
day. Quickly analyze the highlights of the day and check
for any gaps in your memory.

If you fail to remember details about an issue you want to
recall this is a good indication that you momentarily
failed to concentrate during that timeframe.

You may also try to diversify the way you live. Again,
changes don’t have to be drastic.

If today is no different than yesterday and the day before
you might want to include new elements in your life. You
could start practicing a sport or maybe giving a shot to a
hobby you never practiced before.

Repetitive and dull actions slowly push your mind in a
state of semi hibernation, which slows down your responses
to the issues around you.

Stimulating your mind by engaging it in a new activity
always has good results. You don’t have to play heavy mind
involving games (such as chess, for example) to do this.
Try the simple things first: take a different route on your
way to work, buy another brand of laundry detergent.

Try to travel by bus, if you normally use a car and stand
up on a chair to have a different perspective of your
bedroom.

You can also engage your mind in other interesting
activities such as meeting new people or seeing old
friends.
Give a call to an old high school friend and go out for
some coffee or a beer. Your talks will surely trigger a
chain of events that you store in your mind but almost
never utilize. Still, this would be a good exercise for the
mind and, more importantly, a pleasant experience for you.

There are many things you dislike or despise in life. Give
them a chance, try to view them from another perspective.
If there is a person you hate try to put yourself in his or
her shoes for a few minutes.

Try to see yourself through the eyes of people around you
and objectively observe your actions and beliefs.

Try to let a clear mind analyze events that you find
annoying and ignore the preconceptions that urge you to
judge a person or event in a certain way.

All of the above are just some simple exercises that will
help you face your problems better prepared. Do not over do
any of them and let them integrate naturally into your way
of life. You may soon look in the mirror and see a happier
you!

Internet Marketing - Effective Advertising

May 8, 2006 2:49 am

The world of internet marketing is a highly competitive place. With millions of people around the world beginning a home-based business, internet marketers will have to develop effective advertising strategies if they want to succeed.

In order to advertise your products to the largest possible audience you will need to know the most useful ways of promoting your web sites.

This is a brief description of the most effective advertising methods for online marketers.

Advertising through pay per click is one of the more effective means of advertising.

Listing your web site with a pay per click search engines will allow you to start reaching your targeted customers immediately rather than wait for months for search engines such as Google and Yahoo! to spider your web pages.

Your advertising dollars are too important to waste time on ineffective means of advertising. The three top reasons for advertising with pay per click are controlling your rank in pay per click search engines, reaching large numbers of online customers quickly and inexpensively, and the fact that pay per click advertising gets fast results and attracts traffic to your web site quickly.

Search engine optimization refers to the use of certain keywords on your web pages in order to receive high rakings in the major search engines.

Each of your web pages will contain content on a particular subject. There are certain keywords that are searched the most often by internet shoppers looking for information about a particular subject.

Regardless of the subject matter of your web pages, finding the right keywords to include in your content will increase your search engine ranking and drive traffic to your web site.

There are several ways to find the most searched for keywords. There are services that provide keywords to internet marketers for a small fee, usually on a monthly basis.

You can learn to research keywords on your own although if you are a beginner it may take some time to become familiar with keyword research and be able to do this effectively.

Affiliate marketing programs are another method of increasing traffic to your web site. Webmasters can create affiliate marketing programs that will link their sites to the web sites of others.

This enables an online customer to click on your ad from a web site belonging to an affiliate. You will pay the affiliate a small commission for each sale you make that results from the customer’s click.

Affiliate marketing programs allow you to increase traffic to your site and advertise your products and services through the web sites of other internet marketers.

The small commission you pay your affiliates is well worth the increase in traffic and sales you may receive.

Internet marketing is like any other business. If you want to succeed and profit from your efforts, you must effectively advertise your products and/or services.

You cannot expect to simply choose the products you will sell, build a web page, and watch the money roll in. Advertising and web site promotion are critical to the success of your business.

Utilizing the most effective means of advertising will greatly improve your chances of succeeding in your home-based business ventures.

The most profitable internet marketers take full advantage of the advertising tools available to them.

May 06 1st Week

May 6, 2006 5:54 pm

Most of the Internet marketing community is at least
somewhat familiar with Google Adsense at this point. Google
Adsense can be a very lucrative venture so having a better
understanding of Adsense is definitely worthwhile.

Google Adsense are small contextual ads that are published
on web sites with the consent of the web site’s owner. The
ads are created by publishers that are selling products
and/or creating brand awareness. The ads that are created
are called Adwords and they are also a Google sponsored
program.

Google Adwords and Adsense run hand in hand. Every time
someone does a search on Google or one of their partner
networks and clicks on one of the sponsored ads, then the
person who created that ad will pay Google a predetermined
price. This is where the term “pay per click” comes from.

Now the beauty of Adsense is that the person who owns or
hosts the website that the Adwords ads appear on will
split the amount of money that Google receives from the
creator or publisher of the ad.

It’s a well guarded secret what the percentage of the
split is, and it does vary, but for our purposes let’s say
it’s 50%.

If a publisher is willing to pay 40 cents per click for
their Adwords ad, then the host of the website owner can
expect to see roughly 20 cents every time someone clicks on
that ad that appears on their site. The other 20 cents is
kept by Google. So basically it is a partnership of sorts
between Google and the website owners.

Adsense is shown in the most relevant way possible. What
does this mean? Well, probably the best way to illustrate
this would be through an example…

Let’s say Mary had a website featuring women’s clothing.

If Mary wanted to monetize her web site with Google Adsense
the ads that would be shown would all be related to
clothing, and more precisely, women’s clothing.

If a page of her site was dedicated to shoes, then the
Adsense ads appearing on that page would be for women’s
shoes.

So how is the price per click determined?

This is where the Adwords side of the equation kicks in.

Adwords publishers bid on keywords. The more lucrative or
popular a keyword is, the more the publisher will be
willing to pay for each click. Keywords can range anywhere
from as little as a few cents to in excess of $50 per click.

It is not very hard to see how someone with a website
that generates a decent amount of traffic can make some
nice money by putting Google Adsense on their site.

With this in mind, you can see why many marketers create
websites with specific content designed for the sole
purpose of attracting high paying Adsense ads. This is a
very profitable technique and top marketers can earn in
excess of $30,000 a month with Adsense.

Now not for one minute am I saying you can earn this much,
but with so much money up for grabs I’m sure that with a
little effort you could get at least a small piece of this
pie.

Have a great week :-)

5 Common Mistakes Affiliates Make

Avoiding some of the common mistakes made by affiliate
marketers should quickly and easily improve your chances of
making affiliate sales. Here are five of the top mistakes:

Common Mistake #1:

Not researching the affiliate program before your start
promoting it - it really is amazing just how many
affiliates grab the first affiliate program that comes
along or signup simply because it has a high commission
rate or promote it because every other marketer is also
promoting it.

If the program does not complement the overall theme of
your site, you may find it difficult to convince your
subscribers to purchase the product if it does not have
anything to do with the area you are targeting.

Common Mistake #2:

Not using your signature file correctly - many affiliates
will add a signature file to all of their out-going email
messages and message board posts that is totally
inappropriate.

Twenty lines of text full of affiliate links, is not
considered a signature file - it’s usually considered
’spam.’ Try keeping your signature file under five lines
with an attention grabbing or intriguing first line.

Common Mistake #3:

Not writing your own ad copy - there’s nothing worse than
seeing the same advert all over the Net or in an email
message from ten different marketers.

How much perceived value will your message have when it
arrives and the reader is seeing it for the tenth time?
Take the time to tweak the ad to suit your target area and
readership before sending it out. Personalize it and make
the ad your own.

Common Mistake #4:

Not paying for your own domain name and hosting account -
yuck, nobody wants to visit a site that looks like
www.somefreeserver.com/thisavenue/overhere/mysite.html with
a contact email address of bobsnetbiz@somefreeemail.com.

It’s very unprofessional and suggests to your subscribers
that you haven’t made any money on-line because you don’t
know what you’re doing and are too stingy to spend any
money on setting up your business properly.

At $8.95 a year for a domain name at www.GoDaddy.com and
around $4 per month for a small hosting account won’t break
the bank - and it may just help to add to the bank in the
long run.

Common Mistake #5:

Not capturing your leads before you send them through to
the affiliate product site - if you can actually get
someone to click on one of your affiliate links and they
leave the product site without purchasing, what have you
gained?

Nothing! Nothing that is, except the expense and/or
time to get that one click-through in the first place.

Set up a squeeze page so you can capture your lead’s email
address before you send them onto the product site. That
way, if they don’t buy, you can follow up with them later
and try again (and again and again and again). Priceless!

What You Can Learn From ‘The Biggest Loser’

All over the world, night after night, millions of people
are riveted to their TV sets - but not to watch the latest
soap, or CSI. Not to watch Jay Leno or Sex in the City. Not
to see who outwits, outlasts and outplays others in
Survivor.

No - they are spellbound by the efforts of a small band of
obese people trying to overcome the effects of years of
overeating.

It’s not surprising that for so many people this is
compulsive viewing. Obesity is the new epidemic. Fat
children lumber around school playgrounds while their
overweight mothers fill shopping carts with wrong choices.

Then… they sit down at night to watch The Biggest Loser.
They see dramatic weight loss and startling new body shapes
beginning to emerge. They want the same results - and they
begin to think it might be possible.

But who has four or five hours a day to work out? Who can
afford a personal trainer several times a week?

And who has the luxury of their own personal adviser on
calorie content and smart food choices? The answer is: not
many people.

But you have to remember that this is television: it’s a
false situation. As the players keep reminding themselves
and the viewers: “This is a GAME. You have to make the
most of your time here - it’s going to be so much harder
out in the real world.”

IS it harder in the real world? Probably. But you can take
lessons away from watching this reality show. You can make
it work for you, as well as for the contestants. Here are
three practical and useful lessons you can put to use
immediately.

1. Put Weight Loss First.

In the Biggest Loser household WEIGHT LOSS COMES FIRST.
Make it come first in your household, too. Sounds simple,
doesn’t it? It is. In fact, so simple that many people just
overlook it. They try to fit exercise and meal planning
around everything else in their lives, instead of making it
a priority.

Think: what is most important: getting the weight off, and
becoming fit enough to put years on your life - or watching
another TV show? Sit down with a pen and paper and allot at
least one hour a day to planning meals, recording what you
eat, and doing some form of exercise. You’ve still got 23
hours left to do everything else!

2. E is for Exercise - and Enjoy!

What else do you notice in the Biggest Loser household?
The more they exercise, the more they seem to enjoy it. Oh
sure, they grunt and they groan; they sweat and they
complain.

But as the weeks go on, you’ll hear them say things like:
“I never thought I’d say that I look forward to working out
- but now don’t feel right if a day goes past without
exercise!”

The secret to enjoying exercise is finding what’s right
for YOU. If you don’t really enjoy the gym, look for other
forms of exercise.

You need a mix of cardio and resistance training - but it
doesn’t have to be on machines. Walk, swim, dance, climb
hills, push a wheelbarrow in the garden… there are
endless choices that can be fun for you.

Research what happens to various muscle groups - and to
your heart - when you exercise, and pick activities that
you will enjoy.

3. Identify the Triggers.

Emotions run high when the contestants have to face their
demons. Weight gain is rarely from just a physical cause.
If you keep a food diary, and faithfully record not only
what you eat but when (and why) you eat it, you’ll soon see
a pattern of emotional eating.

What are YOUR triggers? Boredom? Tiredness? Family
arguments?

Once you have identified these triggers, you can start
working on strategies to defeat them.

This can be as simple as challenging yourself every time
you want food. (”Am I hungry - yes or no? If I’m not
hungry, then why do I want to eat? Am I really just thirsty?

If I’m running to the fridge because I’m upset, is there
something else I can do to feel better? Is there a long-
term solution that will fix this forever?” and so on.)

If you’re not yet ready to deal with the root cause, then
be prepared with food that won’t add to your problems with
the resulting rolls of fat. Make sure that you have ‘good’
food at hand - but also food that you LIKE.

These are just three of the lessons that anyone can take
away from watching The Biggest Loser. And you’ll have the
satisfaction of knowing you did it all by yourself.

Information On Obtaining Internet Marketing Leads

May 1, 2006 2:48 am

The purpose of every business is to sell something, whether a product, service, or information. And sales usually begin with sales leads.

As an example, new insurance and car sales people are often asked to compile lists of their friends, families, acquaintances, and so forth.

The list is then used to create sales leads - something to get the ball rolling towards that first big sale. The online world is no different.

Every web site needs a steady flow of internet marketing leads. A big part of any online marketer’s job is to create the leads that will ultimately result in another sale.

In particular, in the highly competitive online marketing world, someone selling products and services to other marketers will need a steady flow of fresh internet marketing leads to continue making sales.

Selling to internet marketers is a tough market in which to compete. New products and services are released at an astounding rate.

These new products and services are sometimes driven by new technology, other times by fluctuations in market conditions or search engines, and still others are variations of existing products.

Some of these products are themselves designed to help create internet marketing leads.

There are several basic ways to capture new sales leads online. The most commonly used method is to build an email list.

There’s an old direct marketing saying: “The money is in the list”, and this has held for internet marketers as well.

Email marketing may not work as well as it used to, due to spam filtering, but that’s not to say it won’t work at all.

After all, other than your time, it’s free to send emails, and response rates for email that does reach the intended recipients have remained steady.

The theory of this type of internet marketing leads generation is that an email list works as the first part of a funnel system, whereby subscribers get some incentive to sign up for the list. It may be a free product, program, or report, or some other incentive program.

The email list will then “funnel” interested customers to your products and services.

Other common lead generation methods include using pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, adding information about a site, product, or service to an email signature file, and posting and answering questions on internet marketing related forums.

Just think, for someone selling to other marketers, what better way is there to generate internet marketing leads than posting in forums where other marketers are sure to be reading your posts?

Whatever the lead generation techniques an internet marketer uses, the most important thing to remember about finding internet marketing leads is this: to be effective, they must reach your target audience.

This means that the leads you generate must be interested in the product or service you offer. For an extreme example, it probably wouldn’t make sense to try to generate leads for a knitting product on a site that is football-related.

The target audience of a football site isn’t generally going to be interested in knitting products.

As you begin to build your internet marketing-related web business, be sure to plan a sound internet marketing lead strategy from the beginning.

It shouldn’t be an afterthought that you’ll take care of someday - make it your top priority from the very beginning.
