There are many ways to create your own graphics. But before creating graphics, you should first know what things are needed to create a good design such as understanding the different graphic formats like bitmap, pixel-based, and vector. Bitmap or pixel-based format are GIF, PCX, JPG, and TIFF.

Vector file formats include EPS, CGM, PICT, and WMF. The most commonly used file formats in creating websites and designing e-covers are the low-resolution JPG and GIF formats.

For you to create a good graphic design, you need to have an illustration program and an image editor for graphics. Some of these programs may have features of both, but for most work, you’ll need each one. Each type of graphics program works primarily with either bitmap or vector images.

Adobe Photoshop is an example of an image editor that works with GIF, JPG, TIF, and other bitmap graphics file formats. CorelDRAW is an example of an illustration program used primarily for EPS and other vector file formats.

How to Find Time to Build My Online Business

This is something most people struggle with…

When you initially decide to go online, you struggle to
find the one thing… the one idea to follow!

But if you ’stick it out’ and hang around long enough
opportunities start flying out of the woodwork. In fact, it
can even become overpowering and it’s almost impossible to
make up your mind what to do or what not to do.

Then once you finally come to a decision on the things you
are going to do, you then have to arrange your time in such
a way to get things done.

But how do you settle on what it is you should do first?

Priority is one method of narrowing down the list of what you
want to do. You need to determine what is most essential?
What model or strategy is going to make you the most money?
Which method is going to make the fastest profits?

Once you have figured that out, you then need to develop a
plan and a timeframe to complete the tasks outlined in
your plan. In the initial stages your plan can be something
as simple as a piece of paper that you stick to your
monitor or on your bedroom mirror so you see it everyday.

Then comes the hard part. You have to actually take action!

This is the one step that accounts for over 90% of people
not making it online. They have the best intentions, but
when push comes to shove they don’t follow through with
their goals. So it is imperative that you identify the
tasks you need to do, and then do them!

You can either do your tasks one at a time or combine
related tasks together in batches to achieve your goals
faster. Just take care not to do too much at once,
otherwise you will only confuse and frustrate yourself.

Regardless of how you accomplish your tasks, your main
goal is to see things through to the end. It’s better to do
one thing well and complete it, than to do a bunch of
things poorly and only half-finish everything.

Not everything you are going to be doing will be fun, so
sometimes it will be difficult to stay focused. The trick
is to break down your plan into smaller ‘bite sized’ sub-
tasks to make your job appear easier. Then concentrate on
the results you are going to get.

Focus on what the benefits of your actions will be. If
it’s a big project that’s going to take a while, it might
help to write down the benefit that you can imagine clearly
in your mind and then stick them in a place you will see
them everyday to help motivate yourself.

For example, benefits could include:

1. Help you pay the utility bills
2. Find the extra money to take the family on a vacation
3. Pay for your web hosting each month
4. Buy that car you’ve always wanted
5. Allow you to quit your day job

You get the idea. Simply figure out what it is you want
the most and then write it down.

The next time you are doing that task that is driving you
crazy… close your eyes for a minute and visualize what
it will be like when you achieve your goal.

Then it’s just a matter of setting specific goals to
complete your tasks - and disciplining yourself so you can
reach those goals.

Persistence is the Key to Your Success!

Are you persistent?

You better be because most often than not it’s the only
way you will be able to achieve your goals and dreams.
Almost everyone who has succeeded either online or off-line
has only done so because they were persistent - even when
things look their most darkest.

Most of the most successful people in their field have
failed the first time round - and most times on more than
one occasion. But instead of staying down for the count,
they got back up, dusted themselves off and kept on
fighting.

Successful people are made - not born. There are no rules
or statistics that can accurately predict the results of
any venture - well not that I’m aware of anyway - but
through persistence you can tilt the odds of success in
your favour.

Listen. The Internet is filled with promises of quick
riches, and due to our overwhelming desire to succeed we
tend to fall for this over and over again. Now don’t get me
wrong. You can become an overnight success. But the odds
are that you won’t.

On average it can take you up to 4 years to become an
overnight success. Ask most marketers who have achieved any
level of real success and they will tell you a similar
story. Very rarely does anyone instantly hit a home run on
their first dig.

It’s not that they don’t have a chance to become
successful. They do. In fact anyone can. It just takes
time and patience. What most people do is try one or two
things and if they are immediately success, they move on to
something else. Big mistake. You need to identify what it
is you want to do… and then stick with it.

So the first thing you need to do if you decide to pursue
something online is to do your homework. You need to become
familiar with the playing field and learn the rules of the
game. In other words, know your competition.

When you’ve found your niche, you then need to develop a
plan based on thorough research. It doesn’t have to be
complex, but you need to lay the foundation for your online
business first. The stronger your foundation, the better
the chance you have of building a solid long-term business.

Then you need to develop your business plan and set in play
the motions to build your foundations. Once you do this
you should have a better understanding for how the online
game works and you will be better prepared to go out make
it happen.

You must then take action and employ persistent tactics in
order to succeed. Your first venture may fail. Your second
venture may fail. Heck even your seventh venture may fail.
But if you are persistent and continually seek out
different and new techniques - you WILL succeed.

So find your niche, research and develop it - and then
pursue it. And pursue it with persistence. It’s the key to
your success!

A Little Used List Building Success Strategy

Here is a little used technique you can implement to build
your mailing list for no additional cost. I call it “using
subscribers to make subscribers” - much like in the
context of “using money to make money”.

This simple list building formula can be summed up in two
words:

Ad Swap!

In simple terms an Ad Swap is when you JV with other ezine
publishers within your niche to trade advertisements
between your lists.

This works best if you partner with someone who has a
similar size list to that of your own. This way it’s fair
to both you and the other ezine publisher.

In essence, you broadcast your partners advertisement to
your mailing list, and they advertise your ad to their
list. Yes, you are actually cross promoting each others
offer to each of your mailing lists.

The best strategy to get the best results is to use an
endorsement style mailing. In other words, you get your JV
partner
to endorse your offer.

The reason this method is so effective is because your JV
partner
should have already built a level of trust with his
readers, so when he endorses your offer they will trust
his judgement and visit your page.

But a word of warning…

You should never directly promote a product or service
with the view of making a sale using this method. You can
do this once you have subscribers on you list, but you
should never send new visitors to a sales page without
first asking them to join your list.

If you do this, your results may be very disappointing.
Let’s face it. Your JV partners readers don’t know who you
are, so why should they purchase anything from you without
first getting to know or trust you.

So with this in mind, your primary goal with this form of
marketing is solely to get as many subscribers as possible
from the other ezine publisher’s mailing list to sign up
for your list. And the most effective method to do this is
to offer them something of value in return for signing up
to your list.

The result is that you can grow your mailing list without
spending a solitary dime, which can have a major impact on
your bottom line.

Not only this, you will also have multiple opportunities
to promote your offers to your new readers, which if done
correctly can exponentially grow your profits.

Of course this is just one method of building your list,
but it is one of the most effective as you are targeting
hot prospects who have already shown an interest in your
topic.

All you need do then is to build a relationship with
them to gain their trust.

So go out and seek as many ad swaps with as many ezine
publishers
as possible to begin building your own list of
loyal readers.

Four Ways To Create A Stable Online Income You Can Count On

If you own your own website, there are a variety of things you can do to generate extra income for yourself. To enjoy the most success from your efforts, you must take into consideration your existing website content, as well as your particular target audience. You will also want to know the approximate number of visitors you regularly receive to your website.

Once you have this information, you can implement any of the following:

1. Use the web resources

Include Google Adsense on your web pages. Google delivers text and image ads that are targeted to your site and its content. If you have enough web space available on your server, you could rent web pages to other people. You could also give the web pages away for free, but include your banner or advertisement on them to generate income for yourself.

Charge people a fee to access a dedicated part of your website. People will pay you money for your website content if it’s valuable to them. The content can be ebooks, reports, software, etc.

3. Sell your own products or services

They should be related to your target audience. Selling your own product is your preference. Think of ways to improve them once you have made up your mind investing in them. Make your reader visualize they have already bought your product in your ad. Tell them what results they have gotten and how it makes them feel. They’ll already be emotionally attached before they buy. Products sold online make the most money. You have to make sure you have a decent sales marketing plan, which includes a good website to sell the products. Turn your ad into an article. It could be a story or how-to article.

This will lead them into your ad without them knowing it’s an ad. They’ll already be interested when they get to your sales pitch. Give them a couple tips in your ad that will help them with their problem. This will give your business credibility and gain your readers trust to buy your products or services. You can count on them as long as you maintain your integrity and have a good healthy environment for you and your customers.

You will also want the ability to securely accept credit card payments directly from your website. Other forms of payment such as PayPal, ClickBank, etc. are also preferred. Delivery of your product should be as fast and efficient as possible.

4. Publish an e-zine from your website.

You can have your own mailing list to have a good number of prospects. From your website, you have to give them the option of subscribing to your ezine mailing list, which you can do easily. Have people subscribe to the e-zine right from your website.

Each of these ideas will generate income, but if you are a new website owner, I recommend starting with Google Adsense. These ads continue to grow in popularity and are easy to customize and install on your webpages–simply copy and paste a block of HTML.

For new Internet home business entrepreneurs, in addition to Google Ads, you should also consider affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and usually offer marketing tools and resources that are readily available for your use.
