Multicultural, Ethnic “Spacesâ€
“We have become not a melting pot but a
beautiful mosaic. Different people, different
beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes,
different dreams.â€
~Jimmy Carter
Ethnic decor — whether you are a member of the ethnic group or just have a great love of the artifacts of the group — is more a sentiment than a science.
This has to do with art… with culture. When you say country, modern, French, Victorian, etc, an immediate picture comes to your mind.
Ethnic groups — for example Latinos or African Americans — view the world and services or products from a totally different viewpoint than Caucasian Americans.
Their cultural standpoint, lifestyle, values, and taste are all different from the mainstream. This phenomenon transforms into unique product selection habits, buying processes, and manners in using products, for a particular set of goods or services.
The arena is wide open, in an international field, for “ownership†in ethnic markets.
What exactly does this mean, when we say a targeted market is “ownableâ€? If something is “ownable,†then it is possible to have or possess that item, as property… or, to have control over it. In our discussion on marketing to certain segments of ethnic populations, this simply means that you have cornered a section of that market, and have developed a group of steady, satisfied, loyal customers.
They will look to you for solutions and products, before going elsewhere.
For you as a business owner, the first step to finding “ownable†ethnic market spaces is to discover which groups of ethnic customers are either underserved, or are not actively being targeted by any industry’s product or services.
You define the gap, and proceed to fill the need! A business owner will look for an ethnic market space with a differing set of values and perceived needs from mainstream consumers… which, in the USA, are Caucasian Americans.
You will be surprised and delighted at these differences.
The most commanding element of discovering an untapped market of ethnic customers is the perceived need — which migh be basic functionality, or extra comfort or luxury.
One might believe that this is also accurate for the general market, but a savvy marketer understands that this discernment of need might be widely different from mainstream buyers.
An additional key factor for locating potential monopoly spaces (Definition: You have garnered a large, responsive area of a broad target market, they are loyal to you for having met specific needs) is to scrutinize ethnic spaces overlooked by your competition.
Even in the multicultural marketing plans of the most progressive businesses, often entire ethnic groups are viewed heterogeneously (consisting of dissimilar elements or parts; not homogeneous, which is of the same or similar nature or kind).
Particularly for Latinos, this is a big mistake. Latinos have a large number of sub-groups that are the outcome of many major factors such as country of origin or Spanish language usage, to name just a few.
African Americans have many sub-groups as well, having to do with Northern versus Southern locale, new residents who’ve arrived from foreign countries, and a variety of age-related groups.
To many marketers, these ethnic niches are literally invisible. Luckily, this creates the ideal opportunity in many industries for businesses to pick out and gain control in valuable niche spaces within Latino and African American shopper audiences.
Strategically, it is important for a marketer to cultivate deep relationships with their particular ethnic audience. This connection is specifically important for companies offering services or products that differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
Perhaps this topic has excited you and you are becoming certain that you would be successful in a given ethnic marketplace.
However, you are wanting to know exactly where to begin. Your solutions are probably all around you… from your home, to the restaurants and other businesses you visit, to the books that interest you at the library.
Look around your home for ethnic home decorations that you’ve collected, to provide you with some inspiration. Items such as art works could lead you to specializing in low-cost, small framed posters, or art work that features your chosen ethnic group’s country.
Truly, the world is your bonanza! Tapping into and creating ethnic space “monopolies†should be the goal of every ethnic marketing plan.
Research, as well as fostering close relationships within your chosen group, will lead to a successful business in previously untouched markets. Learn to deeply communicate, even if this means learning another language!
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands,
that goes to his head. If you talk to a man in his
own language, that goes to his heart.â€
~Nelson Mandela

A Key Step to Becoming an Authority in Your Niche
Got a flair for writing? Then use it to your advantage.
There is a fantastic technique for generating website
traffic that has simply to do with writing short articles
that are keyword optimized.
The only question is where to publish these articles?
That’s simple - provide articles and reviews on your own
website!
The more content-rich your website becomes with real
articles and reviews, the more presence you’ll have on the
Internet, and the more your visitors will know that you
understand what you’re talking about.
Not only will you become much more visible on different
search engines and web directories, through the keyword
optimization, but you’ll also become a resource that your
visitors turn to when they want information about the
different products and services offered by your affiliate
companies.
This way, when they want what you’re offering, they’ll
come to your site to find out about it, and then use your
links to make the purchase.
This is one of the better techniques that you can use, as
it creates “regular” visitors and encourages word of
mouth. You will become seen among many visitors as the
authority on your particular topic, especially if you offer
reviews, as well as providing tons of food for search
engine spiders to gobble up as they index.
By adding to your website regularly, you also provide the
impression that you’re on top of all the latest
developments in your area, and that there is no need to
look elsewhere for the most recent information.
Of course, within these articles and reviews, you can’t
forget to include the appropriate affiliate links, as well
as referrals to other points of your own website.

7 Crucial Elements of Visitor Friendly Websites
It has been more than a decade since Internet marketing
and online service providers began and shoppers have
increased tremendously. People know where and how to get
things and they are able to find them and grab them fast.
Basically, most online buyers are in and out of their
virtual shopping trip instantly and want to get what they
are seeking easy. So, if you do not have what they are
looking for then they will be gone in an instant.
With this in mind, your goal is to keep them on your site
and get them to return. You want to get them to ultimately
to buy what it is you have.
If applied right, there are crucial elements that achieve
this for you. You must be sure to make sure you do all of
them. This will give you the results you want.
1. Consistency in your layout and navigation that promotes
  ease and interest…
There have been so many studies done on what people prefer
when going onto a site. This includes how they want things
laid out and what they expect to find.
For example, a white background with black text is the
most preferred and offers the easiest read.
You must also make sure that your site is easy to navigate
through and is consistent. Frequent visitors will get used
to your navigation system quickly, but you need to make
sure it is just as simple for first time visitors.
This is because online users look for the same navigation
points on each visit to bring them to specific pages and
back again. If they cannot find where they just came from
or where they were on a previous visit, they will leave. It
causes too much frustration for the user.
Also, make sure you use the same color scheme on all of
your pages. You want the reader to be interested but not
visually overloaded with too much design and color.
If you don’t believe you would be able to design your own
ask for help. You can pay a web master to build a tasteful
site for you. Or you can go with a pre-designed template
that is tasteful. Most web designing hosts offer several
templates to choose from and are easy to work with and
tweak to exactly what you want.Â
2. Clear copy and easy to read words equals more sales…
Be as clear as possible. No one wants to read a bunch of
nonsense and complicated technical jargon. Your targeted
audience won’t be interested in the entire technical lingo
and for most it simply confuses them and will make them
leave.
Focus on the benefits of your product by the use of
highlighting to make them stand out. Write from the heart
and show your clients you know what you are talking about
by making it easy to read.
Show them that you are an authority on this subject. You
want you readers to know that you truly know what you are
talking about and not just fluffing through it.  Â
3. Fast loading pages don’t frustrate your visitors…
You want to stay away from designs with heavy imagery. You
only have about 8 seconds to convince your visitors to stay
on your site, so you need your page to load as quickly as
possible.
Use text navigation for your site. If your page is too
long, then break it up appropriately. This will greatly
speed up your pages loading time so visitors don’t get
frustrated and just leave.
4. Headlines, taglines, and logos…
Use short headlines or calls to action on every page when
you can. These make visitors read further down the page.
Always use taglines through your pages to brand your site.
Put your logo on every page. This will further brand your
company and its products and/or services.
5. Use personal photos, addresses, phone numbers and build
  credibility…
The Internet is impersonal and as a result many won’t
purchase online in fear that there is no real person behind
it. People are very cautious on the things they cannot see
face-to-face. So it is your job to make yourself known and
ease some of their fears.
One of the best sure-fire ways to do this is to have your
company’s address and phone number on every page. If you
work from home then this would be either that address or a
PO box address you have set up for business.
People like to deal with real people and know that they
are truly there. Include a page about you and anyone else
working with you. Put up your photo and write a little
introduction of who you are and why you are here. This will
help you to gain instant credibility.
6. Audio greetings and customer testimonials…
There are plenty of great and easy to use audio tools
available these days. Create a short audio greeting. This
will help build much more credibility for your visitors to
hear a human voice. This one simple technique can help to
turn visitors into buyers.
Collect and use the testimonials from your previous
customers and place your best ones on your page. This will
show new visitors that you have been around for a while and
add credibility to your product and prove that you deliver
on what you promise in your sales page.
7. Be available and answer inquiries promptly…
When you receive emails inquiring about your product or
service, respond as soon as you can. The sooner you can
respond, the better as it can mean the difference between a
sale and repeat customer or someone slamming your name all
over the Internet.
You don’t want to be branded as someone who ignores
support once a sales is made. Remember, bad news travels
around much faster than good news.
To help provide instant help and to reduce the number of
queries you receive, create a FAQ center that gives general
answers to the most common questions people have asked.
This will help limit your email to more in-depth questions.

Effective Marketing Strategies

Getting the Most from Your Affiliate Marketing
There are thousands upon thousands of different affiliate
programs available to you across the world wide web, so
getting started with an affiliate program can sometimes
seem a bit daunting.
However, when you know what you’re looking for, you’ll
feel much more prepared to tackle this first major step.Â
Though many affiliate sites will give you the impression
that all that is required to enjoy affiliate program
success is plugging a link or a banner onto your website,
and the money will begin rolling in on its own, this is not
always the case. Usually, this is only the case if your
website already experiences massive amounts of daily
visitors.
For that reason, you’ll want to make certain to hook up
with affiliate program that offers products, services and
bargains that hold real attraction to the type of website
visitor you will be experiencing.
Once you have that set it’s up to you to get the word out
and draw as many people to your site as possible using a
number of different marketing techniques. Variety is the
key, both with the products you will offer and the
advertising you will perform.
Furthermore, once your audience has reached your site you
need to encourage them to click through your affiliate
links. Remember, your visitors need a very good reason to
click on a link or banner on your site. Otherwise they
won’t use it.
How do you do this?
Use a wide variety of the different banners and links
offered to you from the affiliate program so that you have
the highest chance of attracting people’s attention - no
matter what draws them.
My testing has found that if you use simple
straightforward links and banners you will experience much
more success than highly colorful and picture-filled
banners.
Remember, a 2% is considered doing pretty well so you will
need to do everything you can to get at least 2 out of
every 100 of your visitors to use your links.
So that brings us to the next question…
What is the best way to promote your affiliate program?
One of the best ways that you can maximize the performance
of your affiliate strategy is by way of direct promotion
via email, which usually consist of ezines or newsletters.
These are emails that recipients actually choose to
receive, by signing up to your list. This way you’ll be
able to create an information-based updates which you can
send directly to the readers inbox.
Naturally these updates should also contain snippets of
pure content that help your readers, such as summaries,
explanations, benefits and uses for different products or
services.
Within your newsletter you can create a great deal of
interest in the different products and services offered by
your affiliate program. They key here is to be subtle and
to create a desire within your readers to learn more, and
perhaps even buy.
And don’t forget, within each of your articles or
summaries, include your affiliate link for the product that
applies to that particular message.
The benefit in doing this is two-fold.
Not only do you have a perfect opportunity to promote the
products and services being sold through your affiliate
strategy (providing click-throughs and then sales with your
commissions), but your visitors will be reminded of your
site with each publication of your newsletter.
This then gives them a path to discover new products and
services that they may never have noticed on their own so
that you can further increase your exposure and sales.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Tell Me What You Think
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is your chance to speak out.
Comment on articles I’ve run in the newsletter, give me
your thoughts on changes or your ad testing results or
questions relating to your business, etc.
In other words, just talk to me about what you think I
need to do to improve the newsletter.
Be sure to include your website address too, because if
I use your comments in a future issue of the newsletter,
I’ll thank you by posting your address so that you can get
additional free traffic to your site.

The Basic Techniques Of Internet Marketing
December 27, 2006 5:33 pmThere are many simple, fail-proof ways to earn money, and one of the best ways is through Internet marketing. When you learn basic Internet marketing skills, you’ll wonder why you haven’t already jumped on the bandwagon.Â
When you think about it, the only things you’ll need to make money is an idea of what you want out of life and the knowledge and energy to put your ideas into motion.
Basic Internet marketing techniques can teach us how to acquire wealth, and an important factor is to provide something the public needs, whether it is a product, a service, or information.Â
Every business has a goal of making money, and every business has something to sell. You will need knowledge and a product before you begin your Internet marketing.Â
You may need money upfront to start your business, although the outlay could be small if you are selling information or services as opposed to a tangible product.Â
You will need a web site for advertising and informational purposes. If you have the ability to do it yourself, all the better.
Like any other business, Internet marketers need sales leads. Retail merchants who set up offices or shops are able to buy lists of potential customers, or they may ask their employees and acquaintances to provide them with lists of names to get their business started.Â
The world of Internet marketing also will need marketing leads. Internet marketing is a very competitive market, and a large portion of your time will be spent generating new marketing leads to drive your sales.
New services and products are introduced over the Internet every day. Some of the reasons for these new developments can be attributed to market conditions, new technology, improved search engines, or totally new concepts.Â
There are even products that will help you develop your Internet marketing leads and attract new customers.
One of the most common ways to attract new customers is to develop an email list. Although email marketing may not be as effective as it once was due to software that filters out “spam,” it does still work.Â
One of the best features of email advertising is that it is a free method of getting the word out that you’re in business. The response to emails is still good when it does reach the intended party. Â
An important part of email marketing is that it can be repeated over and over.Â
You can start out with a small list of marketing and sales leads for your online business, and then build from a few email recipients until you have established a loyal customer base.
In addition to generating email marketing leads, you may want to consider a couple of other methods of advertising your business.
Another Internet marketing technique involves utilizing pay-per-click (referred to as PPC) advertising, whereby participants are paid a small sum of money every time someone clicks on the site.Â
An excellent way to inform others about your business is to join one of the many forums related to Internet marketing. You can post information, ask questions and receive answers from other Internet marketers, and it is also a good way to gain name recognition.Â
When you begin your Internet marketing projects, be sure to establish enough marketing leads to sustain your business and make it profitable, and develop a good Internet marketing strategy early on in your planning stages.

Mastering Joint Ventures - How To Find Allies & Competitors
December 23, 2006 5:14 pmWebmasters definitely want to get more traffic and dominate the search engines.
If you want to become one of these masters, you can seek the advice of the experts in Internet Marketing or a Search Engine Optimization Specialist. They can advise you on how to trade links with other websites.
This is also known as the reciprocal links exchange, one of the best ways to bring traffic to your site.
Trading your links is one of the more effective tools in keeping your websites on top of the search engines. This will definitely boost your link popularity with the Google PageRank at the same time.
But you must be careful because trading links can sometimes be risky. You should be careful in choosing the websites you trade links to. If you do not choose the links, you will only waste your time and money.
The saddest part is that you will hurt your search engine rankings. This will leave you with a bad mark.
Remember that not all websites are the same. So you should take time beofre deciding on choosing the websites you want to trade your links with.
You need to be aware of how best to choose the greatest links. Here are some things you need to understand about links and joint ventures:
You should keep in mind that the sites you choose links to trade with should have quality content. It should have your target market.
This way you will be certain that you will be receiving the highest quality traffic from all the incoming links that directly point the surfers to your website.
Google also gives an elevated search engine ranking that is good for your webpages if you are receiving links, particularly incoming links from the highest quality websites that use content which is closely related to the topic of your site.
The page where your links are placed must have a good Google PageRank score that is enough to keep your traffic high. The general rule is that the incoming links should be pointing at your website.
It should come from a page which is within your link partner’s web page and which has a PageRank of four or more. Google may change the way they count backlinks so you should also choose the best pages with the highest PageRank.
If it appears that Google is currently counting back links to your websites, even if the page you link to is on a page with a low Page Rank of zero, this will be an advantage for you if they run things with this method.
You will never have to worry about linking to those sites with high PageRanks. If they don’t use that method, however, Google may not calculate that link which considers your overall and general link popularity and your website may never accomplish the towering search engine position that it should have.
Have you been missing out on your traffic? Do you want to increase it, but you are incapable of doing it? Rank Retriever is the perfect software that can showcase you with a high level of traffic to your websites.
Rank Retriever allows you to dig into the exceedingly pertinent and relevant websites and link pages from Google that are based upon the desired keyword you want.
This allows you to spy on your competitors to check their existing Google BackLinks. With the use of this software, you will never have problems tracking the status of your competitors.
Joint ventures is among the most powerful techniques used in marketing. Anyone can use that technique to make more profits and reach more targeted prospects and customers who are interested in your services and offers.
Joint ventures is also the most misinterpreted part of all the marketing strategies available. An advantage is that it is being offered in so many forms. This fact is most helpful in trying to attain more wins than losses in the joint venture business.Â
The Affiliate Programs on the Web are the largest and most common form of Joint Ventures, but are not essentially the most profitable form of Joint Venture.
Affiliate programs were primary seen in Network Marketing companies years ago where the focal point was in enlisting customers to develop into the sales force for the products they pay money for.
The first companies dedicated themselves in products everyone purchases over and over.

Designing Your Website to Convert More Sales
One thing that a lot of website owners don’t seem to
understand is that there’s a big difference between the
kind of design you should use if you’re trying to present
information (usually with ads), and the kind of design you
should use if the aim of your website is to make sales.
This distinction causes a lot of confusion, bad design,
and ultimately, lost sales. If you’re trying to sell, then
there’s a whole other set of website design principles that
you need to follow.
- The Headline is Everything.
If you want your website to make sales for you, then the
first thing you need to pay attention to is the headline on
your sales page. It needs to be large, to stand out, and to
grab the visitors’ attention.
It should also give a clear benefit (not a feature) of
your product that you think would appeal to most people. If
you have a bad headline then people won’t even look at the
rest of what you’ve written - they’ll just press the back
button.
- Always Be Ready to Make the Sale.
As soon as a visitor gets to your product page, it should
be absolutely crystal clear what they’ve got to do to buy
the product. If it’s a long page, then ‘buy’ buttons should
be scattered throughout.
If a visitor could look at any part of your page and
wonder where they have to click to buy the product, then
there’s something fundamentally wrong with your website’s
design.
- Make Happy Customers Prominent.
On a sales page you should have a space for feedback that
has been left by previous customers, whether it’s in the
form of reviews or testimonials. This gives people an
opportunity to read a supposedly objective view of your
product, and makes them feel better about spending their
money on it.
Of course, this means that you need to solicit feedback
from previous customers to put in that space - a good way
of doing this is to offer rewards for customers who
contribute in this way.
- Pay Attention to Payment.
You need to make sure that your payment page - that is,
the page where you collect credit card details - is well
laid out and easy to use. Doing things like making it
difficult for customers to provide their details or making
it confusing to choose what kind of card you have is likely
to damage the customer’s confidence in you and your
website.
It is important that your order page should be
professional and standard - don’t be tempted to do anything
unusual with it.
- Highlight Special Bonuses.
To help persuade potential customers who are on the fence
about whether to buy or not to buy, you should take care to
highlight any special bonuses that purchasing your product
will give them. For example, a physical product might come
with free delivery, and a non-physical product might come
with a free ebook.
Don’t go overboard and have a ridiculous number of
bonuses, but do add enough to make the customer feel like
they’re getting very good value for their money.
- Keep It Simple.
When you’re creating a website that is going to be used to
sell products, you’ve got to keep things as simple as
possible on the technical side. That’s because the more
complicated functions you use, the more things there are
that could go wrong and stop them from buying anything from
you.
It’s better that people see a slightly less fancy website
than that they don’t see one at all because if they don’t
see your website then they won’t be doing any shopping
there.
To understand the basics of how ecommerce websites work
you should look at as many other websites as you can. Write
down the elements that they all seem to have in common -
for example, shopping carts - and you will gradually figure
out which things are essentials and which things are just
bells and whistles.
Your website should leave out everything but the
essentials, but make the essential things very easy to do.
That is the key so successful ecommerce design, and if you
can manage it then it will be very rewarding for you and
your website.

More and more webmasters have the recurring dilemma on how
to increase the flow of traffic to the websites. During the
past few years many methods have been developed to solve
this problem. While most of them work well, there are some
that aren’t worth the effort.
One of the methods that have spawned many success stories
in driving traffic to websites is viral marketing. Viral
marketing makes use of the tendency of a person to share
something they find informative, entertaining or amazing.
Many companies bank on this behavior to spread their
products and increase the popularity of their company or
their website.
Viral marketing makes use of many mediums in enticing this
behavior. It might be in the form of an interesting story,
an addicting flash game, an amusing video and many other
things that may catch a person’s fancy.
This ingenious form of marketing is typically low cost and
is a wonderful tool for any person to utilize. The benefit
greatly overshadows the cost or efforts to initialize this
marketing tactic. Virtually any website can greatly benefit
from viral marketing.
One of the easiest methods in viral marketing is using a
tell a friend script. This is a simple programming script
that you can attach to the programming of your website.
Generally, tell a friends scripts are installed in pages
where a media is placed so that a person can easily send
this media to any of his friends or his family members.
The basic concept of a tell a friend script is a script
where a person may input his name, email address, the
recipient’s email address and then send the media to the
intended recipient, much like an emmail with an attachment.
The reason this method is so effective is because the
email is usually from a friend of the recipient who they
know and trust. This being the case, the email is normally
opened without hesitation. Along with the mail would be a
brief description of the company or site that sponsored the
media and this allows for the introduction of either the
site or products.
When you add all this together it converts to a much
higher percentage of people viewing your offering. And
naturally included in the email is another tell a friend
script encouraging the reader to spread the word - and the
process begins again.
A tell a friend script is very simple and does not require
a complicated method of programming. In fact, you can copy
& paste a script and simply insert it on your webpage.
With a tell a friend script viral marketing strategy you
can drive traffic into your site which could potentially
spell profits. This is a simple harmless script that offers
great benefits for low cost, paired with great creativity
and foresight.
It is imperative that you have patience in using a tell a
friend script. If your chosen media doesn’t get the mileage
that is expected it may take some time before it gets
spread or shared. But if you keep testing and tweaking your
viral message there is great probability that you will
begin to see an increase in your traffic flow.

Effective Marketing Strategies

Variety in Your Marketing is the Key to Success
If you have already started your online business you
already know the huge potential email marketing offers.
However, you also likely realize it is unreasonable to
expect your business to thrive if email marketing is the
only marketing strategy you choose to build your business.
This is not unusual as most businesses do not typically
have a great deal of success unless they make the decision
to incorporate more than one type of promotion into their
overall marketing strategy.
So today we will examine a few other online marketing
strategies that may be used in conjunction with email
marketing.
Email marketing in itself can be multi-faceted. It may
include sending out regular content, distributing
newsletters and offering ecourses. Implementing only one of
these email marketing strategies may result in a small
increase in either website traffic or sales, but
implementing more than one strategy at a time can be much
more effective.
Similarly it is definitely worthwhile incorporating other
marketing techniques to grow your online business. This can
help you to enjoy a greater degree of success if you apply
these strategies correctly.
Some of the other marketing strategies you may wish to
employ include banner ads, participating in niche related
forums and starting an affiliate program.
Of these types of marketing, placing banner ads can be the
most expensive option. In many cases your business will
have to pay another website for the privilege of placing
your banner ad on their website.
Choosing a website which sells products which complement,
without competing, for your business is worthwhile.
However, there are some free options for banner ads
including exchanges.
This normally works by having to receive 2 or 3 banner
impressions on your own webpages each time your banner ad
appears on another persons site. Additionally, you may not
be able to control the type of website which displays your
banner ad. For this reason it is worthwhile to pay for ad
space so you can have more control over where your ads are
displayed.
Participating in niche forums or message boards can be
another way to promote your business online. Message boards
are online meeting place where likeminded people who share
a common interest meet to discuss issues and to provide
help to each other.
Most forums allow users to place a link to their website
in their signature line. If you regularly participate on an
these forums and include a signature line with a link to
your website you can reach a high concentration of members
of your target audience.
Just remember that when using forums or message baords to
promote your business it is important to follow all the
guidelines and to avoid techniques which may be deemed as
spam, such as posting your link when it is not appropriate.
Affiliate marketing programs are another type of online
marketing which can be used in conjunction with email
marketing. This involves allowing website owners to promote
your business to their list or to place your product on
their website.
These website owners are known as affiliates. Each time
one of their advertisements causes a visitor to purchase
your product, the affiliate is paid a commission. This
makes affiliate marketing incredibly cost effective as
essentially you do not pay for your advertising unless your
affiliates generate specific actions from their visitors,
such as making a purchase.
An often overlooked benefit of this strategy is that you
can use embedded codes to track your sales to determine
which promotional strategies are most effective. This
information can then be used to tweak your marketing
tactics for maximum profits.

New & Creative Ways To Create An Income / Buy Private Rights
December 16, 2006 12:23 amThe Internet is all about information and automation. Internet users want information and they want it right now. Are you looking for new and creative ways to create an income?
Would you believe there are tens of thousands of people who have found ways to make money online? Not only that, but their incomes are significant and growing, due to little competition and low cost of entry.
Buying inexpensive hosting, making a few changes to a couple of files like putting your name on it and uploading the files, or renaming the product with any name you want and selling it.
When you have the source code, you own the product. You can earn a great income selling products as your own.
However, you must pay close attention to what rights you have and what you’re allowed to do with each product. They do spell it out for you; you just need to pay attention and you can literally begin making money right away.
There are many ways you can become successful with your own products. Included here are some ideas and tips to help you.
Read the e-books and use the software programs and scripts yourself. These products are professionally created by experienced website owners who share their Internet marketing exploits.
Set up websites and resell your new products. They should be related to your target audience. You want to be able to take credit cards on your site and deliver your product to them as fast as possible.
You can start a new Internet marketing business in much less than a day.
Sell Reprint or Resale Rights to your new products. You can sell resale rights of the products you created. Include your website links to the products and let the resellers promote your website while they’re reselling your products.
Sell Limited or Unlimited Master Reprint or Resale Rights. You can also sell master resell rights of the products. This means master resellers can sell the resell rights to your products and this can brand your name fast and easily on the Internet.
Sell Private Label or Re-branding Rights. If you like, you can also sell private label rights just like I am doing. This is another great way to profit if your target customers are other business owners!
Learn sales ideas from reading and studying other businesses’ advertising and marketing material. It could be ads, brochures, TV ads, sales letters, etc. For example, if you see an attention-getting headline, rewrite it, but don’t copy it for your own product.
Another example: if you seen an ad with a persuasive ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture, maybe you could do that for your own product.
Allow people to use any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad in all of your freebies.
Some people only give away freebies in order to allow other people the right to give them away. You could also give them the right to include a freebie with their own product as a bonus.
Purchase reprint rights to other people’s e-books and combine them in a large package deal with your own product. You should check with the reprint rights owners to see if they will allow it first.
If you can’t afford to buy reprint rights, you could always trade for them.
Customize the source code. Customize the source code to build your own unique software or script. You can finally have your very own software and script that no one else has.
Rewrite the e-Books. Look at the way your draft reads now and see if it fits your style of writing, your personality, and your business.
Add or remove content from the draft ebook provided, use the draft to create email courses, articles, content in your ezines and sales letters - just be a little more creative and you can have your very own unique content easily.
Your ebook should be well-organized and enable your readers to easily locate important information.
Some limitations in buying private rights. Actually, you can freely do whatever you want using these private label resale rights products.
You keep 100% profit from what you make using these products. The only limitation is you cannot bundle more than 3 products in any package or membership site.
One thing we’re not finding much of is anyone giving this kind of stuff away, especially if they’re quality products. Having these tips in mind will let you become successful with your own products.
Special membership sites offer these products for a monthly subscription. They allow only a limited number of members to ensure that everyone of them can generate a good income from their membership.
I recommend the best membership sites here, and yes, it works! ;o)

Master Joint Ventures - How To Become A JV Broker
December 14, 2006 12:24 amAre you looking for one of the easiest and fastest ways to make lots of money on the Internet?
JV Brokerage is one of the easiest and fastest ways to make lots of money online. Being a JV broker is a very advantageous position.
You don’t need your own product, customers, or a mailing list. You don’t need a fully automated website with all the works. You don’t need to purchase anything.
All you need to do is learn how to locate complementary businesses, introduce them to each other, and negotiate a deal between them.
You became the middleman. For doing this you get a percentage of the sales.
JV brokering requires a deep network of contacts. They are, after all, the people who will make things possible. Without them, the idea, no matter how grand and rewarding, will most certainly sink before it could even take flight.
Meeting people and building great relationships with them is a must for this business. Hence, good public relations skills are a necessity for anyone who wants to try this profession.
JV brokering also requires a creative mind and a keen eye for the industry. Trends should be anticipated and broken down into feasible plans that are efficiently beneficial for all the parties that decide to adopt it.
Here are some simple steps you could take if you want to start out with JV brokering:
Find possible JV partners. You can do this by building good relationships with the people you have dealt with and are dealing with currently. They are commodities for your success in this field.
If you’re just starting out, then you could invest some time in specialized forums and continue to brand yourself as a credible player in the industry.
Soon enough, you’ll have a workable list of contacts. Ask them if they’re open to joint venturing opportunities. If they say no, be thoughtful and polite, and ask why. Learn all you can from each opportunity you pursue.
Educate them on the process - As you find someone who’s interested, spend time with them and educate them on the process of joint venturing. Learn how things work.
Learn what they are able to do. Learn what they are willing to do. There may be things that they may want to do but can’t yet.
If it’s their first time, encourage them to ask a lot of questions and really focus on building your relationship together as you invest your time and answer each of their questions.
Let them know that you are looking out for opportunities to bring to them.
Formulate an idea by pinpointing a need that should be catered to. These ideas come unexpectedly from inspirations we aren’t expecting.
It would be great if you can always keep a notebook handy, so you can write down these concepts as they come, regardless of where you are and when they arrive.
Develop the idea into a feasible plan. Try to make an outline of what should be done and a timetable by which they can be accomplished.
Try to select the perfect people for the job. The bigger your network is, the more options you will have. Learn what they are able to do. Learn what they are willing to do.
Your job as a successful JV Broker is to really know those you are bringing together. Discover their strengths, know their weaknesses. These will all play a very important part towards the success of each joint venture.
Present to them the draft of your plan and invite them to hop aboard the joint venture you are planning.
Once all the participants have been notified, try to present a fair and reasonable profit-sharing scheme that will make everybody happy.
And once everyone has agreed to the plan and the compensation scheme, it’s time to make it come true!
Joint Venture Brokerage is a highly versatile business which can be run on a part- or full-time basis and produce significant profits for those who take the time to learn the necessary skills and apply them.
Joint Venture Brokerage can be a very rewarding trade, especially when you begin to realize the fruits of your concept and your labor.

The 60 Second Weekly Tip
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
How to Turbo-Charge Your Email Marketing Campaign
Email marketing can be a very effective way to reach a
target audience around the world. However, your marketing
efforts may not reach their full potential unless you
invest some time, energy and money into evaluating your
email marketing strategy.
During this evaluation you may determine whether or not
the email marketing is helping you to reach your goals.
Likewise you can determine if the email marketing is having
an adverse affect on your business.
To say that evaluating your email marketing strategy on a
regular basis is important is a tremendous understatement.
Regularly evaluating your email marketing is not only
important it is critical to the success of your business.
Failure to evaluate your email marketing strategies can
have adverse effects ranging from not producing results to
causing you to lose customers to your competitors.
Consider an email marketing campaign which is not
effective because it does not reach the members of your
target audience.
Some business owners make the fatal mistake of not taking
care to ensure their email distribution list targets
readers who are extremely interested in the products or
services you offer.
For example, business owners who take shortcuts by
purchasing large email lists, often find their shortcut did
not pay off because their readers are simply not interested
in the products or services you offer.
In this scenario the email marketing is likely to generate
very few sales or website visits. However, re-evaluating the
email distribution list to only include readers who are
highly targeted to your niche market will likely result in
significantly more sales and visitors.
Now consider a situation in which your email marketing is
being construed as spam by the recipients. If you have
taken precautions to ensure your emails are reaching your
readers, but your emails seem like over the top sales
pitches, the members of your email distribution list may
view your emails as spam and not take your content
seriously.
When this happens readers may be more likely to seek out a
competitor when they are in need of products or services
rather than making a purchase from you.
Evaluating your email marketing efforts may be formal or
informal in nature. If you have specific business goals in
mind you might want to consider whether or not you are on
the way to meet this goal as an indication of whether or
not the email marketing is working.
Asking customers for their opinions on how effective your
email marketing campaign are and whether or not they were
compelled to make a purchase or not, is an excellent method
to determine how you are progressing. Based on this
information you should have a good indication of whether or
not your email marketing is working.
If it is not effective you should consider making changes
to create more interest in your offers, or perhaps provide
more pure content to gain the trust of your readers. The
changes you make should reflect the feedback you receive
though to ensure you are not making changes which will
cause even less interest from your readers.

How to Remain Focused to Grow Your Profits
Ok. So you’ve made the decision that you want to start an
online business while still working at your full-time job
and maintaining a normal life with your family.
Regardless of what you may have read, doing this is not
easy and at times can be quite frustrating. Let’s face it,
you barely have enough time to meet your daily family
commitments as it is now, so how are you going to do is
while creating an online business?
This is one of the biggest problems that face the beginner
online business owners and with all the other distractions
it’s easy to become overwhelmed and lose focus.
And losing focus is one of the biggest killers of
productive time on the net as it causes you to take little
or no action.
Action is essential to creating a successful online
business. If you fail to pull the trigger and take the
appropriate action at the appropriate time, you will
struggle to make in online.
With this in mind, here are four tips to help you maintain
your focus to allow you the best chance of building a
successful online business:
1. Break it Down
Don’t try to tackle big tasks head on. Doing this will
cause frustration and lead to in-action. It is much easier
to break large tasks down into smaller more manageable
lists. If you do this you’ll find it easier to keep your
focus and you’ll increase your confidence with each task
you complete.
2. Keep a ‘To Do’ List
Once you’ve broken down major tasks into smaller pieces,
develop a ‘to do’ list - and stick rigidly to it. Make it a
habit to keep a notepad and pen, or a portable recorder
with you so that you can jot down or record any new ideas
as you think of them.
Everywhere I go I always take a recorder with me. You
would be surprised how often you think of ideas while your
driving or sitting on the train going to work. If you don’t
record them straight away you’ll forget about them later.
3. Schedule Your Time Wisely
As an online business owner you need to be tough on
yourself. Every night before you go to bed make it a task
to place four or five tasks on your ‘to do’ list that you
wish to accomplish the following day. Place them in order
of importance and then do the most important first.
Stay focused on these tasks and only move on to the next
tasks on your list once these have been completed. Don’t
fall for the trap of getting distracted with other less
important tasks that don’t help you achieve your goal. This
is very easy to do, so you need to keep asking yourself, is
this helping me to achieve my daily goal?
Naturally if something urgent arises you can do this next,
but try to complete each task on your list each day.
And if for some reason you don’t complete all your tasks,
add the ones you didn’t complete on top of your list for
the next day as a high priority.
4. Set achievable goals
There is nothing better for staying focused than setting
realistic goals that are achievable. If you visualize in
your mind exactly where you want to be in the short-term
you add emotion to your goals and they become much more
achievable.
Remember, as it the first tip, break your long-term goals
into smaller tasks so that you achieve each task in baby
steps with the view of reaching your long-term goals.
For example - if you goal is to make $100,000 a year,
break this down into a target of $1923.00 per week, which
seems much more achievable. Then develop a step-by-step
plan that will allow you to reach your weekly goal on a
regular basis.
If you put these four tips into practice you’ll find it
much easier to remain focused on your tasks, which in turn
will help you to achieve your ultimate goal - whatever that
is.

Effective Marketing Strategies
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Tracking Your Results Can Explode Bottom Line
As with any marketing campaign, it is important to track
the results of your Internet marketing campaign. This
should be done on a continual basis so you can ensure the
strategies you are utilizing are working.
It can also help you to determine when a strategy is not
working so you do not continue to invest time and money on
a strategy which is not beneficial to your business.
With this in mind, today we will discuss some of the
options for tracking the results of your Internet marketing
campaign.
Business owners who use banner ads have a simple way to
track whether or not their banner ads are effective. This
is possible because they can place code in the banner ad
which will supply them with feedback each time a user
clicks on the banner ad.
This information is transmitted to the business owner so
he can evaluate which of his banner ads are generating the
most interest. If the business owner is currently using two
different styles of banner ads on comparable websites he
can use this information to determine which design is most
effective.
This is important because if one style is significantly
more effective than the other it might be worthwhile to
convert all of the banner ads to this style or to make
changes which will make the two different styles more
similar.
If the business owner is using the same banner ad on a
number of different websites, the feedback can help him
determine which websites are generating the most traffic
for him.
If he determines some websites are not generating a great
deal of traffic it makes sense to discontinue the banner
ads on these websites as they are not cost effective.
Business owners who utilize affiliate marketing during
their Internet marketing campaign may also be interested in
tracking the results of their affiliates. This is necessary
because affiliates are often paid according to the results
they generate but it is also useful for determining which
affiliates are most successful.
This information can be useful if different ads are
running on different affiliate websites as it can be an
indication of which websites are most effective.
To this end, tracking the results of affiliate marketing
is similar to tracking the results of banner ads. You can
place code in the ads which appear on the affiliate’s
website to provide you with feedback each time a user
clicks on the ad.
Another way to evaluate the results of an Internet
marketing campaign is to simply closely monitor your own
website traffic and sales. This is especially important
when it is done in conjunction with the type of marketing
you are currently running.
For example if you launch a new banner ad campaign with
ads appearing on numerous high profile websites
concurrently, you may notice an almost immediate increase
in website traffic and sales. This information most likely
indicates the banner ads are successful.
However, the problem with using this type of evaluation is
it does not pinpoint successes or failures. If you launch
your banner ad on five different websites at once you may
notice an immediate increase in traffic and sales, but will
not be aware which websites are the most effective.
For example, your advertisement may be running on five
different websites but only one of these websites may be
attracting attention for your business and unless you track
your ads you won’t know which one is working.
Similarly if you are running several different styles of
ads, some styles may attract more attention than others but
you will not be able to differentiate simply by evaluating
your website traffic and sales. The other four ads may only
be generating minimal interest in your products or services.
If you wish to use this method for evaluating the feedback
on your Internet marketing efforts, it is worthwhile to
only make one change at a time so you can more accurately
determine what is working and what is not.
Alternatively you can ask customers to fill out a survey
stating where they saw your advertisement so you can
solicit feedback on your marketing efforts.
Automate and optimize your tracking with the appropriate
ad tracking tools.

More Traffic To Your Site From Niche Articles
December 9, 2006 9:04 pmTargeted Traffic. Is this the key to Internet business success?
Clever Internet marketers have long used a variety of ways to usher targeted traffic to their web pages. Pay-per-click campaigns, email marketing, search engine optimization, and ezine advertising.
However, there is a simple, effective method that many marketers have missed. And that is submitting brief, 400 or 400+ word articles, so that they appear all over the Internet.
What are the advantages of niche articles?
1. They link readers back to your website.
The time and effort you spend on these mini-articles is a wise investment. Every article you submit contains a link back to your website. Every link helps your website gain link popularity, one of the factors in your search engine ranking.
If your article’s content matches the content of the web page you have linked it to, the search engines will regard this as a relevant link. Relevant links to your website are valued even higher by the search engines.
The higher your site is ranked, the more traffic you will get.
2. People are always in need of information.
It helps to keep in mind that people who use the search engines are looking for information. If they happen upon one of your articles and find it interesting and useful, they will likely click on the link to your website to continue their research.
The more places your articles appear, the more people will find and read them and the more traffic that will be channeled to your website.
How do you create one of these articles?
Your article should be around 400-800 words long and contain just enough information to: offer the reader some useful facts; motivate the reader to click on the link to your website for more information; and attract the attention of an ezine editor who may republish your article.
A good article should contain 1 or 2 tips extracted from an information product you are selling on your website. You could also use paraphrased information from a web page you want the reader to visit.
Also effective is a review of a product you would like the reader to purchase. The review would contain a link pointing to your affiliate page through a link tracker or to a page on your own website where you offer more details.
What can you do if you do not have time to create the articles yourself?
Pay a ghostwriter to write them for you. Simply visit websites where you can post a description of the articles you want written and writers will contact you.
Once your articles are done, you may want to submit it to as many places as possible.
Article Directories. They will run a quick content check and then publish your article. Once posted to one of these directories, it will likely be republished all over the Internet.
Many publishers are routinely on the lookout for quality articles. You simply allow them the rights to re-use your article and in exchange they leave intact the link back to your website contained in the bio at the bottom of your article. You just gained another link without lifting a finger.
Ezine Editors: You will get lots of well-targeted traffic by submitting your articles to popular ezines that are related to your niche website. Ezines are always in need of new, good quality content.
Once your article is published in an ezine, you will get lots of publicity in return. Getting your articles in ezines read by hundreds or even thousands of people is an excellent way to quickly increase traffic to your website.
Your Own Article Directory: Many ezine publishers and webmasters do not realize that article directories even exist. Once they read one of your articles from a directory, they will visit your website, which could prominently display a link to your own article directory.
The link should make clear the fact that your content is free for use in any website or ezine. “Free Content For Your Ezine” should appear in a link that is prominent on your directory website.
Keep in mind that article writing is a huge win-win process for all involved. Authors get free publicity and links back to their website, publishers get free information for their websites, and readers get free quality information for their research and buying needs.
