Google caches over one billion images that are searched in
exactly the same way web pages are. Typing your search term
in the box and clicking on “Search Images” gives you
thumbnails of images related to the keyword search term you
used.
Each of the thumbnail images is linked back to its original
page, where you can view the larger size. This can save you
tons of time in locating an image that suits your purpose,
since you don’t need to sort through the standard search
results to find a web page that might contain the image you
need.

The ONE Special Ingredient to Achieving Success
Well another week’s come and gone and still we wonder what
the real secret to online success is.
While I’ll be honest and say that I don’t know all the
answers, I can tell you it’s not so much a single factor
that determines your level of success, but rather a
combination of factors that when put together in the right
sequence creates a force you never thought possible.
But the trick is it’s not the same for everyone. It’s
different things for different people. But having said that
there is ONE common thread that acts as the single most
important ingredient to success… without it you’ll NEVER
succeed.
Here’s a tip…
Ever tried to re-create a KFC Zinger Works Burger at home?
No matter how hard you try, unless you add the 11 different
secret herbs and spices, it just never works. It just
doesn’t taste the same does it?
Creating an online business is no different. Without the
one common thread, the one special ingredient, it doesn’t
matter what niche you try to target or what business you
want to create, it’ll just never work.
So what is this one special ingredient?
Well by now you’ve probably worked it out, but I’ll tell
you anyway…
The ONE common thread that combines all things and
produces amazing results is… ACTION.
I know we’ve talked about this on many occasions. In fact
I even mentioned it again last week. But it’s imperative
you completely understand the importance of this.
Unfortunately while I can show you everything you’ll
ever need to know to succeed online, I can’t force you to
take the necessary action to implement what you learn. Like
the old saying goes…
You can lead a horse to water… yeah well you know the
rest.
Until you understand this very important factor, you will
continue to scratch your head in frustration. But once the
light bulb flashes in your head and you hear that little
“ding” sound ringing in your ears, then you’ll instantly
understand.
Then you’ll know exactly what I’ve been talking about all
this time! Then you’ll ask yourself… why in the heck
did I wait this long?

What is the Long-Tail and How Can it Help You?
You’ve probably heard all the fuss lately about the “long-
tail”. But what really is it? What does it mean and how can
it help you?
The long-tail is a term given to a keyword phrase that is
longer than the normal keyword phrase that you may have in
the past been targeting to gain organic traffic from the
search engines.
Let me explain.
In the past it was common place to target highly
trafficable keywords that were very popular in your niche
in the hope that you would be able to gain a share of this
huge amount of traffic.
For example, if you had built a site about fishing you
would have done your keyword research and discovered that
the term “fly fishing” was searched for over 60,000 times
per month. So naturally you would have optimized your pages
for this term to try to get a listing on the first page of
the search engines (SERPs) to capitalize on this traffic.
Then you would have focused on optimizing a webpage for
the next highest keyword phrase - and then the next - and
then the next. And so on.
Basically most people only ever focus their efforts on the
top 20 search terms and forget about the rest as there just
doesn’t seem to be enough reward in optimizing a webpage on
a long-tail keyword phrase that only gets a handful of
visitors each day.
For instance, a long-tail keyword for your fishing site
may be “saltwater fly fishing reel”, but as this term only
gets about 50 searches a month you decide to forget about
it. It’s just not worth the effort, particularly when you
can get 60,000 visitors by optimizing for a more popular
keyword.
But let’s face it. There are only 10 spots on the first
page of any search engine, so the odds of you being able to
gain a top spot for competitive keywords such as “fly
fishing” is remote at best. However this doesn’t deter most
people as the lure of a share of 60,000 visitors is just
too compelling.
The end result is that for most people this just doesn’t
happen and as a result they never achieve the traffic they
hope for. So they give up trying and never reach the
heights that they expected.
But here’s the real twist…
Some of the marketers who do get lucky and get a high
listing for one of their main keywords still don’t see the
long-term rewards they had thought they would achieve with
a top search engine listing for a popular keyword. And it’s
all due to not focusing on the “long-tail”.
Let me give you an example to explain what I mean.
For one moment let’s assume you have built a fishing
website and after a lot of effort and hard work you finally
achieve the #1 spot for your top keyword. In fact, your top
20 keywords are sending you 10,000 visitors a day to your
website from the search engines and you’re making a good
income from monetizing this traffic.
You’re getting heaps of free traffic and the money is
rolling in. What more could you ask for. Life is great!
The trouble is that in your excitement to optimize your
site for the top keywords in your niche, you forget about
the long-tail keywords. But hey, who cares. Your top
keywords bring in 95% of your traffic, so you don’t need to
worry about the smaller stuff. It’s just not worth the
effort.
Then you wake up one morning and check your web stats.
Disaster!
Your traffic has dropped from 10,000 to a mere 500
overnight. You hurriedly check the position of your
keywords and discover that Google has had a dreaded update
and you’re no longer on the front page for your main
keywords. In fact, you’ve gone from the first page to the
7th page.
All of a sudden instead of earning $10k per month, you’re
looking at maybe $500 if you’re lucky. Basically your
entire business has been destroyed overnight. And if you
think this is an isolated case, think again. This scenario
is repeated every time the search engines update their
algorithms.
Now imagine that rather than just focusing entirely on the
popular keywords, you decided to focus on the long-tail
keywords to drive traffic to your site. But rather than
focus on just a few long-tail keywords, you focus on 200
such keywords. Combined these keywords can drive more
traffic to your site than what your most competitive
keywords can.
Yes it’s a lot more work, but remember you want to build a
long-term sustainable online business, so it’s not going to
be easy. But the rewards will be worth it.
And here’s the real exciting part - you are getting
traffic from a wider range of keywords. So if one of your
top rankings keywords bites the dust, it won’t have a huge
affect on your business as you don’t have all your eggs in
one basket.
Not only this - but people who search using long-tail
keywords are highly targeted potential customers. They have
already done their preliminary searches and are now totally
focused on exactly what they want and therefore they are
more likely to convert to customers than someone who does a
broader keyword search.
So while you may not get as many visitors to your site if
you focus your efforts on long-tail keywords, your visitors
are more likely to convert into customers at a much higher
rate - plus you have created a LONG-TERM business in that
you are not at the mercy of the search engines and it is
unlikely that you would be wiped out overnight.
So the next time you built a niche site, don’t forget to
go long for the longer term!

How Long Before You Find a Profitable Niche?
Using Google Adwords is an excellent method of generating
an online income. But the question I get asked most is…
how many campaigns do you need to create before you find a
profitable one?
This will depend on the market and the product you are
promoting.
Some niche markets are made for internet sales and it will
be more like 1 in 7 - maybe more. Other markets might be a
tough sell online and it will take considerably more effort
to generate sales
You could have 2 or 3 profitable campaigns in a row - then
have 20 in a row that fail.
You could set up 30 campaigns and be lucky to get one
making you a couple of bucks a day, but number 31 makes you
rich overnight.
It depends on your approach and how thorough or targeted
your campaigns are. It will be much more difficult to turn
a profit on a campaign with 10,000 untargeted keywords than
a laser targeted campaign that focuses solely on
long-tailed keywords that attracts buyers like a magnet.
Some people have found instant success out of the starting
gates. Others struggle after months of losing money.
Does your approach mean the difference between success or
not?
Individual PPC businesses are all as unique as the
thousands of businesses you find offline. We all bring
something different to the table. We are all in different
markets and environments. And we all have different
experiences to start with.
One thing I have found that is universal is that applying
the techniques - learning them - studying them - and
practicing them will get you there faster.
But you do this, you must convince yourself to first take
action. Once you get over this hurdle you can then track
your successes and failure so you can determine what works
and what doesn’t. Then it’s just a simple matter of
transferring these results to your next campaign.
It’s amazing that the more ‘hands-on’ you become with your
online business, the better you get and the more profits
you make. You might not succeed with the very fist thing
you try, but each time you try you are one step closer to
achieving success.

Viral marketing has matured a bit over the years. There
seems to have been a shift to the web not just being seen
by agencies and brands as another tick box for any ad
campaign, which is significant enough, but now being the
medium where a campaign is launched to create a buzz before
it hits TV and print.

there is a pre-launch buzz-generation activity on the net.

Tips to Creating a Viral Marketing Campaign
It is a well known and widely accepted fact, that ebooks -
particularly free ebooks - are one of the best weapons in a
viral marketing campaign arsenal.
Ebooks are cheap to produce and don’t take long to set up.
If you have articles that you have already written about
the subject you are promoting, you can simply combine these
articles into an ebook.
If on the other hand writing isn’t your forte, you can use
rebrandable ebooks that have been produced by others. Just
use your favorite search engine and do a web search for
“rebrandable ebooks”. You will get a lot of hits and have
many to choose from.
One way to distribute these ebooks to your visitors is to
give them as a free gift for subscribing to your newsletter.
If your Ebook contains material that people will want to
share with their friends and family, they will pass it along
to them… they will pass it along to others… and you will
make money!
Ebooks are capable of reaching a large audience. The only
limiting factor is the enthusiasm or the participants.
Therefore it is absolutely vital that your ebook contain
something that people will want to share. Remember that
people like to know something that the rest of the world
needs to know. They will pass along something that makes
them look like they are in-the-know.
Ebooks can also be used as a great way to promote products
other than the one you originally targeted. For example; if
you are selling garden products, your customers could also
be interesting in ebooks about lawns, trees landscaping,
etc.
They are also very effective in building your reputation.
It is an implied recommendation if you give a quality ebook
and users willing pass on to others.
But ebooks aren’t the only way to create a viral marketing
campaign. Here are four additional ideas to help you start
your viral campaign:
1. If you have the ability to set up a forum or other
bulletin board, you really have a great tool. Allow people
to use your online discussion board for their own website.
Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.
2. Do you have a knack for web design? Create some
templates, graphics, etc. and upload them to your site.

4. You can easily find products on the net that will sell
you a license allowing you to distribute the product free
of charge to other people. Look for those products that
provide “branding rights”. That is where you can include
your own name, website, and contact information.

Ezines have become very popular and if you have a decent
size list that is tightly relevant to your niche market,
why wouldn’t you be successful at it? You have more
control. You know what your audience wants and you have a
direct access to them.
Ezines are especially a good thing if you can write
articles or if you have them written for you. You can
establish your expertise and create interest within the
article and have a link to your site or product.
I personally like ezine owners that not only send out your
article to their readers via their ezine, but also post
your article on their site (with a link back to your
website). This gives you the best of both worlds.
Yes, there are going to be a lot of factors to consider in
finding the right ezine, such as volume, the quality of the
content, how qualified the list is, etc. So not all ezine
will produce outstanding results.
The secret is to find relevant ezines that target a group
of people who have interest in what you’re doing.
Of course you can certainly pay to advertise in ezines,
but I personally like free advertising. And creating join
ventures with other ezine publishers is the perfect way to
do this.
You can create an ebook or a report that targets to a
specific group of readers and then create a JV with another
publisher to give it away to their readers. There are heaps
of ezine publishers that would love to do that. Why
wouldn’t they want to give their subscribers something
free? It’s a great reflection on themselves.
That’s how a most of the successful marketers build their
email lists. They do an ezine swap or put together mutually
beneficial deals and send them to each others lists.
There’s basically no investment in doing this, just a
little effort.
This is a great method used by many savvy marketers and it
has had a tremendous influence on their long-term results.

Real-Life Tips to Creating a Money Making Website
A friend of mine had been struggling with a website of
his. Someone had convinced him to build a website in a real
competitive market and then drive traffic to it using
Google Adwords.
His plan was to provide information for the visitor (which
he did a good job with) and then send his visitors to
targeted products via his affiliate links.
Well based on my advice he has now decided to pursue a new
website. This time related to one of his interests. It’s a
more of a niche and I know he’ll do much better.
Here are some of the comments I gave him that you could
also find useful if your website is not performing as you
would have hoped:
Adwords can be discouraging, but maybe it’s not the
traffic. It’s more than likely the type of market you are
trying to target
When I first started out all I did was send people
straight to the merchant site. I went through site after
site before I found profitable sites that converted.
Download sites were good, and so were dog training sites.
Some I would get 100s of clicks, but I was spending more
than I was making. It’s still trial and error with landing
pages. At first you never know what’s going to convert, so
you have to test to see what does or doesn’t work.
One thing that’s helped me is I make sure that the site
I’m sending people to is professional and reputable. Brand
names help. I also targeted affiliate programs that have
high payouts of $25 or more a sale. That way I know I have
a chance of making some money.
The biggest mistake I made was that the first day of doing
Adwords I set the per click to like $5 - ouch. Luckily my
budget was only $25. I used up the budget in about a half
hour and never made a single sale.
Nowadays I very rarely bid over 10 cents. Maybe 25 cents
on specific keywords if I know the conversion rate is good,
but not much more.
Using Adwords is a process. So I wouldn’t give up on it as
a way to drive traffic to your site. You just need to test
a different market or different affiliate products to see
if the conversion is better.
You also need to consider multiple streams of income on
your website. There’s a lot of potential online and the
best way to ensure your success is to make sure you create
multiple ways of generating an income from your visitors.
Maybe write an ebook to sell or give away (Viral Marketing).
You also need to write articles and create a newsletter so
that you can build a targeted list. Not everyone buys on the
first visit to your website. So having a newsletter will
allow you to capture visitors and convert them into
customers in the future.
If you could create a decent ebook and sell it for 25
bucks or something like that it may be the icing on the
cake. And don’t forget to give some bonuses away with it to
see if it helps conversions.
Then you can drive traffic to the site to test different
aspects of your sales page to get maximum, conversions,
such as the headline, colors, bullet points, placement of
ads etc.
Adsense is another good source of income. You have to have
some good traffic to make a lot of money, but I was
surprised when I started using it as a strategy throughout
my websites. Hey, even if it’s just 30, 40 or 50 dollars a
month, it can pay some of your expenses.
Then you can go after the free traffic from the search
engines as well.
Submitting to directories is a great way to get the Search
Engines to take notice. I don’t recommend even submitting
to Search Engines anymore. You can get crawled by the
search engine spider much quicker by getting some links
coming to your website.
Writing articles can get you a little traffic rolling as
well. And it’s a great way to establish yourself as an
expert in your field. The inbound links also help with your
position in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS).
Just be aware that finding a success market happens faster
for some than others. So don’t give up on your first
attempt. You need to give it time and have a lot of
patience to find the right mix. So doing a combination of
things can really help.
Everyone can make a living online, but it can take a lot
of hard work sometimes. Many people give up before they
find good income, but it is possible for everyone.
Most importantly, keep learning. I learn something new
everyday. I hang out in forums, read articles, ebooks,
reports, etc. I’m continually soaking up information. You
have to learn the newest techniques and strategies to keep
up with your competition.
Just go out there and do it - and I’ll see you at the top!

Harnessing the Awesome Power of Forums
It truly is amazing. The longer you’ve been online, the
more you realize just how small the Internet community
really is. Sure there are millions of people online, but
there are many tight-knit communities where like minded
people hang out and share information.
I run into people I know in different forums all the time.
In fact, just today right out of the blue I had someone
email that I’ve bumped into on a few times at one of the
forum I visit regularly.
And this is not the first time. It happens all the time.
That’s a good thing. That’s part of doing business online
and networking. But you also build personal relationships
with some. You share personal experiences. You help each
other out through good times AND the bad times.
If you haven’t already done so, find a good forum to hang
around in. There are some bad ones, but if you take the
time and do some research you’ll find the good ones
relating to your niche market, hobby or interest.
Just start hanging around. You’ll soon start to get to
know the people. Then you can start jumping in and
participating.
There are forums for everything. Whatever you’re involved
in. If you’ve got a career or an interest, there’s a forum
for it. If you have a hobby, there’s a forum for that as
well. I mostly hang around Internet marketing and other
business related forums. I don’t know where I would be
today if I hadn’t discovered their power.
Beyond relationships you can learn endless things. Not
just anything - things drawn from other people’s
experiences that could take you years to learn by yourself.
It’s better than a textbook. It’s interactive.
If you ask a question there is usually someone waiting
with an answer. You can also search the databases of
threads that could contain untold information.
So that begs the question - how do you enter a forum?
That sounds silly doesn’t it? Why would you have to learn
how to enter a forum? You just sign up and post right?
On the surface it may seem that easy, but I see a lot of
people having a real hard time with this task. Naturally
over time forums create a very tight community, and
eventually everyone learns the rules and looks out for each
other.
Different forums approach how you display links differently
or even what you can talk about. So that’s the first thing
you need to do. Read the rules!
The other thing is don’t come in with all guns blazing and
tooting your own horn!
Don’t try to prove yourself and get too excited about
showing everyone how knowledgeable or smart you are about a
certain topic. Get to know the community first. Hang out
for a while. Introduce yourself politely, there’s usually a
separate area set aside for intros. Then start browsing.
Get to know the other posters. Remember a lot of these
people have known each other for a while. They may even be
doing business behind the scenes. Once you have a feel for
it, start helping out.
If you have any knowledge to contribute, provide it. Help
people with things you know about.
Learn - Read - Learn. Then read some more and ask
questions. Then let it rip if you want to.
The bottom line is very few people can go crazy right off
the bat. There are exceptions here or there, but usually
the community wants to see you contribute for a while
before you get bold. They need to get to know you.
Definitely don’t provide a sales pitch in your first post.
You will getting flaming posts and anger the community.
Everyone will see it as spam.
It’s just like building any relationship. Easy at first
until you get to know each other.
Forums can be extremely powerful tools. Don’t abuse that
power. And don’t ruin your reputation.

Viral Marketing - What Will and Won’t Work
Trying to force people to forward your info to a friends
or family in order to be rewarded or win looks skanky in
today’s ultra-permission-based world. Especially when you
tell visitors nothing about their friend’s or family’s
privacy in the space directly next to the e-mail form.
A true viral campaign gets forwarded because your readers
are compelled to do so by the pure quality of the content,
not because you bribed them with points or something else.
What absolutely will NOT work…
Suggesting that your readers forward your message to their
friends and family will not work. Adding a line at the
bottom of your email that reads “Please feel free to
forward this message to a friend” is more likely to get it
deleted than forwarded.
What absolutely WILL work…
Offering something worthy of sharing like a valuable
discount, relevant or timely information, research or
studies that are included in your email will encourage the
recipients to share with their family and friends.
Interactive content like a quiz or test - especially if
it’s fun - will also inspire forwarding.
Jokes and cartoons are almost always forwarded to
everybody the recipient knows. Why? Because they are
entertaining and entertainment is meant to be shared.
A really cool multimedia experience is always going to
achieve a lot of sharing. Rich media is new and the novelty
and tech factors alone are often enough to make your readrs
eager to share it.
Oops! I almost forgot one really important thing…
You can craft a brilliant email following all the rules, but if a
reader visits your site and has an experience less that what
you promised, you are going to achieve viral marketing,
allright… the bad kind.
So be certain that your product or service is ready and is
as it was promoted.

If Only I Knew Then What I Know Now
Hindsight, we all know only too well, is a wonderful
thing. For example, if only you had known how profitable
Google Adsense was going to be you would have started
building sites when it first launched and made a real
killing!
If you had only known that niche marketing was going to be
so wildly popular you would have focused on that instead of
going down the MLM path.
If you had only known the search engines were going to
change their algorithm you would have…
Stop!
In the world of Internet marketing, you can safely bet
that the ONLY constant is the rate of change!
There’s always news of the latest product dropping into
your email inbox. There’s always another promise of quick
and easy money. Google will keep changing its algorithm,
and new search engines are quite likely to pop up to
challenge the big dogs.
So - what can you do about this?
1. Continue to Educate Yourself
Understand that those who rise to the top of any field -
whether it’s Internet marketing or something else - are
good at what they do. This means that they never stop
learning. There are always new materials, new techniques
and probably new ‘experts’ showing the way.
Most of us learn in three main ways:
(a) From experts who specialize in a certain niches
related to our field;
(b) From other like minded marketers who are following the
same path as we are, and;
(c) By trial and error from our own testing and results.
You will find that the more you engross yourself in the
world of marketing, the more you will be able to analyze
which products, services and opportunities are right for
you.
2. Select One System or Product and Give it a Chance to
Work
Countless people who start out on the Internet with high
hopes follow the same pattern. They get excited about a new
product or system. They throw themselves into it and invest
long hours (and potentially quite a bit of money) in
getting it up and running.
It might be e-books sold from mini-sites; it might be
setting up a www.ebay.com business; it might be directory-type
sites with text manipulators; it might be AdWords or
content sites optimized for AdSense; it might be a quality
turnkey online business.
Then one day they get wind of another new system (probably
one created by someone who claims “the gurus are angry with
me for giving away all their secrets…”). Discouraged by
the lack of results with the first “opportunity”, they
decide to let it rest for a while and try the new one.
Back they go into the cycle of try-the-new-product, get-
discouraged, discard-it-and-try-the-next-thing.
And so it goes on. Months pass. Perhaps years pass. They
struggle to pay the credit card bills mounting from buying
into every new system that comes along… with very little
money coming in to offset their ‘investment’.
As they look back, they start muttering “If I had only
known then what I know now…”
If you can recognize yourself in this scenario, the good
news is this: Now you DO know better. You don’t know what
the next new product will be that’s going to set the
Internet world abuzz, but you do know enough to choose a
system that’s right for you and stick to it. I highly recommend

3. Regather Your Thoughts and Plan Your Future
Give yourself from two to four weeks to regroup. Go
through all the products you have on your shelves or on
your computer. Make a list. Decide which products you know
(so wise with hindsight!) to be worth keeping. Then analyze
the ‘keepers’ and pick on the best system for YOU to use at
this time.
(This will depend upon your level of knowledge and which
one you would enjoy most. Work with your strengths.)
Finally, devise a game plan. You are going to focus on
this ONE method and devise a practical time-line to achieve
results. Don’t be in a rush. Make sure you give yourself
enough time to see it ‘take hold’ so the money starts
flowing in. That will give you the motivation to continue.
Clear the decks, physically as well as mentally. Put all
the products that don’t fit in with your plan in boxes or
on disk for safekeeping. You may return to them one day,
but if you’ve chosen the system that’s right for you, you
probably won’t.
4. Stay Focused and Don’t Get Distracted by New Products
Resolve to buy ONLY products or services that will save
you time or money in implementing the system you have
chosen.
Never buy anything on impulse. Print out the sales letter,
read it through, then put it aside. Read it through again
the next day. Does it still seem so appealing? Check out a
few forums to listen to the buzz.
If a product doesn’t deliver, you’ll soon hear about it.
If it is exceptional value, you’ll hear about that, too.
Some questions to ask: “Will this help me to streamline
the business I have chosen? Is it worth the money? Will it
make a significant difference?” And above all, “Do I need
this, or is it just another distraction?”
Resolve to make this the year you will succeed. No more
pocket change. No more “If I had only known…”
You DO know. So make it work!

How to Use PLR Articles to Increase Traffic
Article marketing is by far one of the best methods of
promoting your business, building your subscriber list AND
increasing your profits.
When you submit your articles to article directories,
article announcement lists and ezine publishers you
accomplish several things…
1. You establish yourself as an expert in your field and
build trust with your readers. When you do this, your
readers are more likely to listen to you and follow your
advice if they feel you know what you are talking about.
2. By attaching a resource box to your article, you
provide a path for your readers to follow back your
website. If the reader is impressed with your content, they
will likely click on your link to see what it is that you
are offering.
3. You can increase your search engine page rank by
providing a one-way link to your website. Search engines
just love one-way links pointing back to your pages and
they give extra weight in their page rankings for this form
of linking.
The only problem with this system is that many marketers
are not comfortable writing their own articles. They just
do not know how to put their thoughts into words. Or they
do not have any thoughts worth printing about their chosen
topic.
That is why private label articles are in such high demand
these days. There are several of these services available
and more seem to be popping up every day.
When used correctly private label articles can give you an
advantage over your competition, in that they can increase
your traffic, your sales and your opt in subscribers.
However, a common mistake made by marketers using private
label articles is that they are far too lazy. They simply
copy and paste the article and submit it to article
directors or uploaded it to their website unchanged or
unedited.
Doing this will not only get you banned from submitted to
article directories, but you risk your site also being
penalized by the search engines for duplicate content..
So do yourself a favor and at the very least, change the
title and re-write at least 30% of the article. If you
don’t feel comfortable doing this, then hire someone to do
it for you. You can get rewrites for as little as $5 each
at many of the freelance sites
And just remember - a good article contains useful
information to the reader whether they buy your products or
not. Give them good content and you will increase the
chances that they will click your link in the resource box.
Private label articles can be a great tool to add to your
arsenal, provided you don’t get take too many shortcuts.

Simply place the below script in between the HEAD tags of your
web page and alter the “5″ to whatever timeframe in seconds

Why would you need to do this?
Suppose you initially send your visitors to a page that
promotes your ezine, with the specific purpose of capturing

any additional details they may need to know.
However, you should also forward them to your home page
so that you can provide them with additional resources or
products for their enjoyment or information.
This is were a refresh script is handy. It allows you to
initially forward them to one page… and then
automatically redirect them to another page, after a pre-
determined time, without them having to lift a finger.

Are You Really Ready to Build an Online Business?
Regardless of what you may have heard or believe, creating
an online business is without question one of the best ways
the average person can earn extra income.
You could say that it’s the perfect way for you to create
an additional stream of income or to replace your existing

prepared to persevere until you reach your goals of

If you think that all you need to do is join the latest

account, then you’re going to be bitterly disappointed.
This is one of the biggest myths online and hundreds of
people get caught with this trap and loose their money
every single day. In the end these people finally realize
that they’ve been duped and a short time later they give up
their foray into creating an online business.
But most importantly, sadly the hopes and dreams of
average hard working honest people are shattered forever -
and this is the real travesty!
The truth is that there is no such thing as “magic bullet”
programs where you don’t have to do anything to make
money. If it were this easy we’d all be living the life of
luxury.
But there’s no need to panic. All is not lost…
If you follow one simple rule that you’re about to
discover… You CAN make money online!
This rule is not a “secret” scientific breakthrough that
will be chronicled forever in the archives of time. Nor is
it an exclusive breaking story that will make the prime
time news and win someone a Pulitzer Prize.
However it IS the most important rule you will ever learn,
regardless of the endeavours you are involved in.
Basically the gap between the “haves” and the “have-nots”
is not as great as you may think and creating an unlimited
amount of success is purely a matter of implementing one
simple thing…
The key to achieving real success in ANY venture is simply
a matter of…
… TAKING ACTION!
I personally know people who spend up to 40 hours per week
(over and above their day job), and many hundreds of
dollars per year, learning new methods and strategies to
build/create their businesses - yet they still struggle to
make any decent money online.
On the other hand, I know others who only spend a few
hours a day on their business, yet they’re super successful
and living the life that others only dream of.
The difference is that the first group are procrastinators
that have Analysis Paralysis. While they have all the
information they will every need to build an online
business, they are unable to mentally “pull the trigger”.
All they concentrate on is analyzing the information they
have and thinking of reasons why they can’t make a go of it
or waiting for just the right moment… instead of just
doing it!
The second group on the other hand are in complete

The world of Internet marketing is a highly competitive
place. As a beginning Internet marketer there are some
basic rules you should learn about how search engines
spider and index your web site.
Firstly, unless the search engines are able to find your
web site, there is no way the general public will ever know
that it even exists.
So your first priority after you have created your web
site and chosen the products or services you want to
provide is to get your site listed with the search engines.
So as part of your overall marketing strategy it is important
to include a plan to get your website spidered and indexed
as quickly as you can.
Obviously in order to get your site indexed you must first
let the search engine spiders know you are there.
So how can you lure the spiders to your site other than
using manual submitting to the search engines, which is not
a preferred method as this can actually harm your chances
of getting listed quickly.
The good news is that the following methods are much more
successful than submitting your pages directly to the
search engines…
The fastest method of getting your site indexed in super
quick time is to link your web site to another site that is
already indexed, is related to your site and is spidered
frequently.
As a rule of thumb, if a website has a Google Page Rank of
4 or above (the higher the better), the search engine
spiders visit these site on a regular basis, oftentimes
daily. So if you can get a link to your site from one of
these pages it will vastly increase your chances of getting
spidered and indexed quickly.
The best method to get a link from these sites is to
simply approach the site owner to create a reciprocal link
exchange with them.
It is recommend that you first place a link to their site
on your site and then send them a quick message requesting
a link exchange, advising them that you have already added
their link to your page.
If the owner of the site is pro-active in building links
they will generally agree to your request, provided your
site is complimentary or relevant to their own.
Another excellent method of getting the spiders to visit
is to create a blog that is relevant to the topic of your
site and then place a link on the blog back to your home
page so that the spiders have a direct path to follow.
If you do this and then use the “tag and ping” technique
each time you post content to your blog, your site can be
spidered very quickly… in as little as 48 hours!
Other alternative methods you can use to get spidered
include more traditional proven methods such as writing
articles for the various article directories or submitting
posts in popular forums.
Both these strategies have proven to be a very successful
way of not only getting indexed, but also in generating
quality traffic to your site.
Writing and submitting articles is without question the
number one method of generating hundreds of links back to
your site and it should definitely be part of your overall
marketing plan.
If you choose to post on forums, do not to spam. Find a
forum that is highly relevant to your site topic, follow
the forum posting rules, posts regularly with helpful
advice and do not go overboard on your “sig file”.
But just a word of warning… some forums are not that
popular which will have a major impact on how often the
search engine spiders visit their pages, so make certain
that the forums where you post have plenty of activity.
Once you have been able to get your home page spidered,
you will need a good site map that lists the links to every
page on your site to allow the spiders a clear path to find
and index all your pages.
If your site consists of over one hundred pages, consider
using a multi-page site map and make certain that every
site map page links to each of the other site map pages.
But most importantly, make sure that your pages are simple
and free of useless clutter and comply with standard HTML
coding standards, especially your home page. Before putting
your site up you should always make sure that your HTML
validates at… http://validator.w3.org
Getting your website spidered and indexed quickly is the
most important thing you can do to achieve success as an
Internet marketer and using the methods suggested above can
be very helpful in getting your website listed in ultra

I am sure that you have definitely come across ads that
read: “1,000,000 email contacts for just $29.99″. And they
may even off to deliver the names in a CD directly to your
doorstep.
This is a trap for the newbie. You know that you need to
get a big list to make it online, so rather than using more
conventional methods that can take many months, you decide
to take a shortcut to build you list.
Stop!
Whatever you do, DO NOT be conned into grabbing these
emails. Sure, having 1,000,000 subscribers is the best
thing that could ever happen to any Internet Marketer - but
as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, then
it often is.
What many beginning marketers do not understand is that
bulk email companies harvest the contact details of
unsuspecting people using robots that steal this
information without the webmasters knowledge. This is the
only way they are able to get this huge number of emails

And the sad part is that if you purchase these so-called

affiliate marketer working from home, a day in your life
would sound something like this…
Upon waking up and after having breakfast, the computer is
turned on to check out new developments in your niche
markets and to check your emails for important tasks. There

“I’ve heard and read many times that owning your own
product is the key to making huge money online. But how do
you know what product to create? How do you know if it will
sell?”
Does this sound like something you’ve often thought about?
Well here’s the answer that may well shock you…
“Ask your potential customers.”

If you have a list, send out a questionnaire or a survey to
find out what it is they find most difficult about a
certain topic. Then compile the results and create a
