A Key Step to Becoming an Authority in Your Niche
Got a flair for writing? Then use it to your advantage.
There is a fantastic technique for generating website
traffic that has simply to do with writing short articles
that are keyword optimized.
The only question is where to publish these articles?
That’s simple - provide articles and reviews on your own
website!
The more content-rich your website becomes with real
articles and reviews, the more presence you’ll have on the
Internet, and the more your visitors will know that you
understand what you’re talking about.
Not only will you become much more visible on different
search engines and web directories, through the keyword
optimization, but you’ll also become a resource that your
visitors turn to when they want information about the
different products and services offered by your affiliate
companies.
This way, when they want what you’re offering, they’ll
come to your site to find out about it, and then use your
links to make the purchase.
This is one of the better techniques that you can use, as
it creates “regular” visitors and encourages word of
mouth. You will become seen among many visitors as the
authority on your particular topic, especially if you offer
reviews, as well as providing tons of food for search
engine spiders to gobble up as they index.
By adding to your website regularly, you also provide the
impression that you’re on top of all the latest
developments in your area, and that there is no need to
look elsewhere for the most recent information.
Of course, within these articles and reviews, you can’t
forget to include the appropriate affiliate links, as well
as referrals to other points of your own website.

7 Crucial Elements of Visitor Friendly Websites
It has been more than a decade since Internet marketing
and online service providers began and shoppers have
increased tremendously. People know where and how to get
things and they are able to find them and grab them fast.
Basically, most online buyers are in and out of their
virtual shopping trip instantly and want to get what they
are seeking easy. So, if you do not have what they are
looking for then they will be gone in an instant.
With this in mind, your goal is to keep them on your site
and get them to return. You want to get them to ultimately
to buy what it is you have.
If applied right, there are crucial elements that achieve
this for you. You must be sure to make sure you do all of
them. This will give you the results you want.
1. Consistency in your layout and navigation that promotes
  ease and interest…
There have been so many studies done on what people prefer
when going onto a site. This includes how they want things
laid out and what they expect to find.
For example, a white background with black text is the
most preferred and offers the easiest read.
You must also make sure that your site is easy to navigate
through and is consistent. Frequent visitors will get used
to your navigation system quickly, but you need to make
sure it is just as simple for first time visitors.
This is because online users look for the same navigation
points on each visit to bring them to specific pages and
back again. If they cannot find where they just came from
or where they were on a previous visit, they will leave. It
causes too much frustration for the user.
Also, make sure you use the same color scheme on all of
your pages. You want the reader to be interested but not
visually overloaded with too much design and color.
If you don’t believe you would be able to design your own
ask for help. You can pay a web master to build a tasteful
site for you. Or you can go with a pre-designed template
that is tasteful. Most web designing hosts offer several
templates to choose from and are easy to work with and
tweak to exactly what you want.Â
2. Clear copy and easy to read words equals more sales…
Be as clear as possible. No one wants to read a bunch of
nonsense and complicated technical jargon. Your targeted
audience won’t be interested in the entire technical lingo
and for most it simply confuses them and will make them
leave.
Focus on the benefits of your product by the use of
highlighting to make them stand out. Write from the heart
and show your clients you know what you are talking about
by making it easy to read.
Show them that you are an authority on this subject. You
want you readers to know that you truly know what you are
talking about and not just fluffing through it.  Â
3. Fast loading pages don’t frustrate your visitors…
You want to stay away from designs with heavy imagery. You
only have about 8 seconds to convince your visitors to stay
on your site, so you need your page to load as quickly as
possible.
Use text navigation for your site. If your page is too
long, then break it up appropriately. This will greatly
speed up your pages loading time so visitors don’t get
frustrated and just leave.
4. Headlines, taglines, and logos…
Use short headlines or calls to action on every page when
you can. These make visitors read further down the page.
Always use taglines through your pages to brand your site.
Put your logo on every page. This will further brand your
company and its products and/or services.
5. Use personal photos, addresses, phone numbers and build
  credibility…
The Internet is impersonal and as a result many won’t
purchase online in fear that there is no real person behind
it. People are very cautious on the things they cannot see
face-to-face. So it is your job to make yourself known and
ease some of their fears.
One of the best sure-fire ways to do this is to have your
company’s address and phone number on every page. If you
work from home then this would be either that address or a
PO box address you have set up for business.
People like to deal with real people and know that they
are truly there. Include a page about you and anyone else
working with you. Put up your photo and write a little
introduction of who you are and why you are here. This will
help you to gain instant credibility.
6. Audio greetings and customer testimonials…
There are plenty of great and easy to use audio tools
available these days. Create a short audio greeting. This
will help build much more credibility for your visitors to
hear a human voice. This one simple technique can help to
turn visitors into buyers.
Collect and use the testimonials from your previous
customers and place your best ones on your page. This will
show new visitors that you have been around for a while and
add credibility to your product and prove that you deliver
on what you promise in your sales page.
7. Be available and answer inquiries promptly…
When you receive emails inquiring about your product or
service, respond as soon as you can. The sooner you can
respond, the better as it can mean the difference between a
sale and repeat customer or someone slamming your name all
over the Internet.
You don’t want to be branded as someone who ignores
support once a sales is made. Remember, bad news travels
around much faster than good news.
To help provide instant help and to reduce the number of
queries you receive, create a FAQ center that gives general
answers to the most common questions people have asked.
This will help limit your email to more in-depth questions.

Effective Marketing Strategies

Getting the Most from Your Affiliate Marketing
There are thousands upon thousands of different affiliate
programs available to you across the world wide web, so
getting started with an affiliate program can sometimes
seem a bit daunting.
However, when you know what you’re looking for, you’ll
feel much more prepared to tackle this first major step.Â
Though many affiliate sites will give you the impression
that all that is required to enjoy affiliate program
success is plugging a link or a banner onto your website,
and the money will begin rolling in on its own, this is not
always the case. Usually, this is only the case if your
website already experiences massive amounts of daily
visitors.
For that reason, you’ll want to make certain to hook up
with affiliate program that offers products, services and
bargains that hold real attraction to the type of website
visitor you will be experiencing.
Once you have that set it’s up to you to get the word out
and draw as many people to your site as possible using a
number of different marketing techniques. Variety is the
key, both with the products you will offer and the
advertising you will perform.
Furthermore, once your audience has reached your site you
need to encourage them to click through your affiliate
links. Remember, your visitors need a very good reason to
click on a link or banner on your site. Otherwise they
won’t use it.
How do you do this?
Use a wide variety of the different banners and links
offered to you from the affiliate program so that you have
the highest chance of attracting people’s attention - no
matter what draws them.
My testing has found that if you use simple
straightforward links and banners you will experience much
more success than highly colorful and picture-filled
banners.
Remember, a 2% is considered doing pretty well so you will
need to do everything you can to get at least 2 out of
every 100 of your visitors to use your links.
So that brings us to the next question…
What is the best way to promote your affiliate program?
One of the best ways that you can maximize the performance
of your affiliate strategy is by way of direct promotion
via email, which usually consist of ezines or newsletters.
These are emails that recipients actually choose to
receive, by signing up to your list. This way you’ll be
able to create an information-based updates which you can
send directly to the readers inbox.
Naturally these updates should also contain snippets of
pure content that help your readers, such as summaries,
explanations, benefits and uses for different products or
services.
Within your newsletter you can create a great deal of
interest in the different products and services offered by
your affiliate program. They key here is to be subtle and
to create a desire within your readers to learn more, and
perhaps even buy.
And don’t forget, within each of your articles or
summaries, include your affiliate link for the product that
applies to that particular message.
The benefit in doing this is two-fold.
Not only do you have a perfect opportunity to promote the
products and services being sold through your affiliate
strategy (providing click-throughs and then sales with your
commissions), but your visitors will be reminded of your
site with each publication of your newsletter.
This then gives them a path to discover new products and
services that they may never have noticed on their own so
that you can further increase your exposure and sales.

Tell Me What You Think
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is your chance to speak out.
Comment on articles I’ve run in the newsletter, give me
your thoughts on changes or your ad testing results or
questions relating to your business, etc.
In other words, just talk to me about what you think I
need to do to improve the newsletter.
Be sure to include your website address too, because if
I use your comments in a future issue of the newsletter,
I’ll thank you by posting your address so that you can get
additional free traffic to your site.
